Better still, plant out a few weeks apart each time and you’ll have fresh lettuce all season. Simples.

Nice! This question will probably sound dumb to you... But I had bought romaine lettuce cut off at the end and I have it in water, it's growing beautifully, but where are lettuce seeds located in it?? Do I just transplant that into soil... The core that's growing well..

with just 1 youtube short i'm gonna assume this fella is australian considering he is growing lettuce through the dead of winter where there would be at least a foot of snow on the ground and temps well below freezing

My lettuce never grows bushy. They almost always look like little stalks. How do u get a lettuce ball instead of a leaf thats on a long stalk with other leaves all beat into the ground rotting from rain. Difficult grow

What type of lettuce is that? That was huge at the end!
Actually, no. Not the fastest by a long shot. Hydroponic lettuce grows MUCH faster, usually in about 2/3's the time of soil grown lettuce.

So the fastest way to grow lettuce takes 6 months?
@OrganicGardenTherapy Жыл бұрын
If you are sowing Lettuce in spring you'll start harvesting in summer. The point is to start harvesting us early as possible with easiest way. In those six months you've mentioned you have only 1 to to hours of work. You'll have the same amount of work if you start in early spring
