Hey @@kyle2931! Yes, Artaeum is the best location due to it being the smallest area. However if that is not an option you can do a small area like Eyevea, Bal Foyen, Hews Bane, or Betnikh.

Yikes! Well once you have your scrying leveled up you don't need to do it on other characters unless you want to.

I know this is old but you can get scry to 7 within a day depending on how much you want to grind.

When you have blue and greens leads you need scry them both and than look for blue, after blue go for green and you will get blue again, than repeat, lot faster. For gold leads farming flowers in Coldharbour Hollow City is probably fastest way to max skill line.

Nice guide. Personally I start moving away from Artaeum at level 4 or 3.5. Move to the 2 starter zones off each faction and do the green and blue. That way the second you hit 5 you're got 7 purple leads waiting. Not only does it help in levelling to 6 faster but it's also a nice chunk of change for the treasures. Not only that, but a new player can then grap the skyshards in those zones and have enough skill points to actually unlock the scrying and excavation skills.

Going after purples is bad advise. I followed another guide which told me the same thing. The once you reach level 5 to go around the world and get purples. I spent like 5-6 hours traveling across the maps to get purples. The exp bar only raised by half a bar. Then i looked in to it and realized the exp you get from the different colors. Green is 1, Blue is 3 and Purple is 5. While doing the 3 as a chain gives 9xp, the traveling makes it take WAY more time. I went back to the small island and grinded the green and blues and in around 2-3 hours got the 1 and a half bar to level 7.

Glad that works for you! If you have most of the area wayshines it makes it easy to teleport around rather than running. But glad you got it leveled!

I see when you say "fastest way," you apparently mean fastest way to get from one dig to the next, NOT fastest way to lvl the skill line.

Well, since the only way that you are able to level the skill lines is by completing dig sites in this case it would be one in the same.

@@TricktonGaming Not really, because you tell people to wait to a certain lvl to do higher tier leads for some reason. You should do highest tier leads you have access to regardless of skill line lvl. Higher tier leads=more xp

You need to level up your scrying and excavation to unlock the skills.

You should be able to... Have you put skill points in your scry skill passive? Also you will need to find a blue lead to scry it.

The jail breaker is for the movement speed, you could also use Ford's if you want to use your refreshing path.

Jailbreaker is pretty much useless on nightblade as just you can get minor expedition for free with the 'concealed weapon' slottable skill.. this lets you also run darloc brae and get INFINITE sneak... also using quick cloak is very useless as you can just run adept rider and get major expedition at all times without casting a skill... nightblade gets sneak radius passive and with major + minor exp plus 3 exemplary swift rings and celerity you can hit speed cap while SNEAKING, never needing to sprint, aggro a character, cast a skill, anything Adept rider + vampire passive reducing sneak snare + darloc brae + concealed weapon - it's the farming meta

You get a blue lead when you excavate a green

That is correct, you will automatically get a green to scry. When you complete the green, you have a possibility to get a blue. By completing dungeons and world bosses you can get more scrying items.

Yeah, the Greens may be quicker, but you will get more experience from the purple. So unless we really time it, it may be 6's.

At the simplest form, yes. But once you are able to do the more difficult leads, go to other areas and complete them until you hit level 10.

@@milothebest98 I actually had a day off yesterday and spent all day lvling it, then spent the rest of the day getting the ring. Definitely didn't feel like I'd used that time wisely at the end. It wasn't as bad as I thought because it's really easy after you level them up a bit, almost a joke which almost makes it worse. I play with ESO+ so I'm not looking forward to grinding the other ring from the high isle DLC when the new one comes out lol.
