At 26:44 there is a 1989 Arctic cat Cougar 500 in the back ground that is in great shape. I bought one in 1991 and rode it until 1996 when the first ZR 580 ETT with dial adjust race sled came out. I bought one and it was an awesome sled.

The Xtra wheels, The Dupont slides, The lube.. AWESOME!! I 've been doing that since the 1991. LOL We had our 600 2 stroke hit 115 mph but in 1 mile radar on ice. Along with some awesome clutching and gearing. Our 800 cant hit 122mph on the ice track. The Turbos are a weapon for sure esp 1/4 mile. I'm looking at one this weekend LOL Way better then the IQ turbo switchback i had set up for ice.. and low snow.

Yomama get worked over by The Shocker. Awesome speeds boys. That must be something to hang on to. I thought I was going to the moon at only 115mph. Liquid courage helps smooth out the passes. Maybe Stojko has some old figure skating blades kicking around to rig up for the skiis. Light dig double runners might tweak another mile or two🍺😂👍

Back in the day we used to use RV antifreeze in the lube system. I don't know if there is a biodegradable RV antifreeze today or not, but if there is that's the ticket.

Pete, you may have to switch to Michelob beer. "eh" Yomama got some competition. Jim nice Sled. Also that triple triple pretty cool old school sled. If Yamaha stop manufacturing, where would one get 4 stroke parts. Eventually you may have to look into Yamaha motorcycles for some parts. Are begin hoarding 4 stroke parts! The cylinder heads seem to crack over time on some 4 stroke Arctic Cat sleds.
