This game is amazing and I can't wait to play the new Remake of it, but PC players might have a much worse experience than the original if the do not have a controller... #untildawn #problem #supermassivegames

It's a one and done game. I just got the Platinum for the original yesterday, and I got it for free on PS+ a long time ago. I won't be buying the Remake and will get the Platinum for the Remake when it drops on PS+.

It's strange that this game comes out in 4 days and there's only been ONE short trailer so far with almost no gameplay.

I feel like the don’t move sequences will just be not moving your mouse, not as great but it’s still better than repeatedly pressing or holding a button

I agree with you, but also atleast people who have disabilities can also enjoy until dawn

I don't know if the game will have A,S,D,W keyboard QTEs but the difficulty of hitting those might make up for easier don't moving sections (and we don't actually know whether they will be easy, it depends on what difficulty settings they provide). This might just be me being too stubborn to get a playstation controller and trying to justify it.

Well hey we never really know until it comes out. Maybe it will be goated on keyboard, I just have my doubts.

Gottem with that solid take. Problem with their other games, aside from the lack of motion controls, is the severe lack of meaningful consequences for failing sections.

True, I did notice that with Man of Medan. I didn't want to fully just dog on their other games though lol

I disagree with severe lack of consequences for failing sections. Have we even been playing the same games? In Man of Medan, I got Conrad and Brad killed on my blind playthrough each for a single failed QTE. In house of ashes I lost Jason to a single QTE miss. In my blind TDIM playthrough Jaime died because I was a split second too slow pulling out my screwdriver. In my blind Quarry playthrough, Kaitlyn died because of a single missed shot. And in TCOFS my Sam died after failing with the camera. Edit: For the record I also played these games on max difficulty (lethal for DPA, sacrifice for TCOFS).

I haven't played all of their games, but from my experience it was mostly inconsistent. Some QTEs that should have been deadly weren't, while others were. It felt weird if you failed some that didn't kill you, such as failing a jump and then the character just grabbing on themselves, and then one random one that does kill you.

@@sopezyt I can agree with you regarding inconsistency in places. In a lot of sequences it's the final QTEs that determine whether a character lives / dies while at the start of the sequence they're a lot more likely to give you a free pass. Sometimes the deaths can only happen in certain circumstances (usually the game wants to ensure it has enough playable characters). Then again, on a blind playthrough, one doesn't entirely know what is fatal and what isn't so I'm still constantly on edge.
