Ehhhh, I honestly hated Tirion and still hate Anduin. Tirion was alright in wrath purely because he was one of the few neutral characters, Now I feel like everyone is neutral making him bland, also he may love his kids but he is a race traitor and deadbeat father.

He's not a deadbeat father. He was exiled for 'treachery against the alliance'. That same 'treachery' was the very reason the light chose him to wield Ashbringer. The things you dislike him for are what I like him for personally ^^

He accepted exile with the knowledge of how hard it's going to be for his daughter and son. In medival times it won't be easy, he made it harder on me...he betrayed his oath as a Knight of Lordaeron and the Silver Hand to let some orc alive, stole the Silver Hand and turned it's back on the values it had...I don't know Tirion is everything I hate as an Alliance player.

Eitrigg saved Tirion's life the first time around after the duel they had in the woods and the unfortunate collapse of the tower on top of Tirion's head. He couldn't betray Eitrigg because his honour wouldn't allow him to. Furthermore, his "betrayal" of the Alliance caused them no harm whatsoever, it was to their advantage even that the Light found Tirion, a member of the Alliance, more and more trustworthy based on his actions. You worry about the Alliance, but Tirion took orders from powers far greater than the Alliance. The Light is just one of them. Draw a contrast between Tirion and Arthas, then tell me Tirion still betrayed the Alliance.

Personally after looking through the path they're giving Anduin, I do believe that he could potentially be the real hero of the Wow story (Apart from Illidan of course). We've seen the character grow and now that we've seen him leading the assault against the final enemy of the Warcraft story (Void lords potentially) kinda makes me want to respect the character even more.

I started playing WoW in late 2005, a little over a year after my 2 1/2yr old son died, I guess as a way to escape the pain. It's been interesting to be able to see Anduin grow up from that little boy in Vanilla that stood by the throne when Varian was missing. To watch him through the game and the stories learn and grow and become a young man and now king. It's been a long, interesting journey.

I know he gets a bad rep but I really like Anduin and in many ways, I feel like (other than the player char) WoW is his story - watching him go from child to young adult to King, gaining strength and being the positive figurehead that the Stormwind Humans have always strived to uphold. He is one character that I don't need to see some dark character development, for me he is the future greatest king of Stormwind and something of a paragon 👍🏼

Gotta give props to Blizzard for actually making a very good character change with Anduin. I mean, we've seen him grow since Vanilla. We've seen in the comics him stopping Varian from killing Moira, in Cata helping his father and literally saving him from a twilight ambush in Stormwind, in Pandaria, where his character really grew and where he knew the true nature of this world and finally, all of that very very good potential, unlocked with his father's death. Tho I'm very sad my favourite character had to die, it opened doors for KIng Manduin to finally grow a pair and start leading. 17 years and he already conjures what appears to be a Hammer of Wrath. Now that is really interesting when you imagine him in 5-10 years, where he'll be at his peak.

I was just joking. You're right in that there is no other Alliance paladin (living) with as much renown as Tirion had. Many of the other Alliance paladins are already in the order hall. The only remaining human paladins from the old Silver Hand days are retired or part of the Scarlet Crusade. I guess it's time for a new hero, but I don't know who could feel Tirion's shining silver boots.

Anduin is 18 in the BFA cinematic. Blizzard assures us that he is not paladin,but a priest. However, Anduin is able to wear plate and equip a sword because he is a hero class NPC, not confined to class restrictions

Well, no.....I think Anduin has always had the Warrior genetics deep down inside. Matter fact, every Human King in WoW lore has had the potential or was a great warrior it's in their blood. Anduin just choose to follow a different path. It would make sense after everything he has been through and everything he has lost that he would now understand why it's important to fight. I think he has the potential to be one of the greatest Paladin's that every lived.
