I do not know his name, but am glad to call him my brother. He absolutely personified what it is to be a Marine. Step forward when you MUST, but never back up. Had the situation been real, that thug is stamped "USMC", whatever that meant. He used no more violence than was absolutely necessary to control the situation, but was fully prepared to disembowel this guy to protect his daughter. And, to be so cool at the end, that's senior NCO stuff.

Never, ever cry wolf. This was interesting to watch but not worth putting someone you care about through this kind of conflict as well as full on terror. From this video's perspective, that daughter does not appreciate what an amazing Father she has. WTF?! Also, if law enforcement became involved, that's a wild card that we can't assume will go in a positive way with this "joke". It's not funny even with good intention. The lesson I take from this is to never pretend you're in danger if you aren't. DUH.
