I wonder what Sir Toni would say??!! Just go with it; it is what it is. Don't over analyze the magic of life. But l like to go deeper. It's a fascinating issue and top; cruel and relentless to family members and loved ones; it's like the person's gone off and playing another role!! Everyone has to learn or try to deal with the eroding of ego personality and human identity in relation to linear time and it's reality. Has the consciousness moved more into or out of the dream state of their reality??!! Has consciousness removed itself from localised reality? I guess it's a different level of soul expression. One must feel more hopeless and helpless? I wonder how Toni felt in playing this part??!!! Anger, confusion, betrayal of life in general. Such a powerful moment of creation. This is going to be an epic powerful movie of emotional proportions. Confronting for many touched with such heartache and hopelessness. Thanku to all the actors and first time director of this one. Outstanding.

*My theory: the daughter is messing with her father, replacing herself with a younger version at certain times. Bringing people in that he's never met but she insists he knows them. She could be telling him one thing then denying it the next day and in front of others, i.e. the doctor. If she repeats this enough times and gets those around her to do the same, she could convince him he's going mental. Laura, an outside perspective will either serve to assure him he's not going crazy and thwarts the daughter's plans, is hired by the daughter to make him believe he is crazy, OR - and this would be a good twist - at first pretends to be on his side, knowing very well he's of sound mind, but at the end double crosses him and sides with the daugher, her employer.* *Can't wait to see this and find out if any of my theories are correct!*

@sylviaallen2704 жыл бұрын
@@DeborahWalkerXOXO yes, it is a normal phase of dementia. Everyone I've known who had dementia went through this. It often turns into a hostile paranoia as time passes. That's a phase too--eventually they get past the paranoia stage but it can get pretty brutal while it's going on. Caring for someone with dementia is not easy! It is best not to ever argue with the person about what's real. Not defend yourself from their accusations, not tell them that isn't true, that isn't what's happening. Because it's not about you at all. There is an emotional truth in the crazy version of reality they're perceiving. Open ears and heart, and listen listen listen. Try to hear the emotional truth they're expressing in the craziness, and speak to that. It's an opportunity to be the adult in the room, to be generous and kind to someone who is lost and scared.
