Sadly it appears they did in the US. Nowadays the proletarian movement was expropiated by the alt right, and the dumbasses want to fix capitalism problems with more capitalism. Poor americans tent to think more free and wild capitalism is the solution, even though it's exactly that which caused the problels they complain about. The song "Richmen north of Richmond" is a clear example, a right wing dude complainint about problems caused by right wing ideas and wants to solve the problem with more right wing.

He would take me up to Harlem and hang out with me and take care of me. NOBODY questioned a little white kid walking down Lennox ave. Not with Mustafa walking with me. He taught me a lot of good stuff. To this day I remember him teaching me the official Black Panther dap that all Panthers greeted each other with. @@TheSublimeLifestyle it’s actually the opposite. Anybody who claims he can bring liberation with a movement strictly excluding non black people is a fraud . Usually a capitalist who’s only trying to cash in(see Umar Johnson) the Panthers were socialists who believed in an alliance between working class people of all races (and the few members of the bourgeoisie willing to "betray" their class) to fight against the ruling class be it white or otherwise(the idea that black people segregating ourselves is the key to liberation is a shallow idea debunked by the authoritarian, abusive and corrupt leadership of all so many black nations) Hampton explicitly opposed self segregation and as a socialist promoted a united working class beyond race. Rich White supremacists have been using the tactics of convincing poor white people that poor black people are their enemies since the beginning. If poor white conservatives realized they have more in common with poor white people than they have in common with rich twats like Trump or Elon Musk. And if poor black people realized that politicians like Obama are cynical foot soldiers of the moneyed interest who do not give a fuck about anything but themselves, it would be over for the racket organizations like the Dem party, the Republican Party, fox, CNN, MSNBC got going. Their main purpose is to prevent class consciousness. Rich people got that class consciousness and their politics reflects that. They all on the same page when it comes to their bottom line. Only poor people get tricked into defending the interest of the wealthy and its because most of us don’t realize who our kin is. Rich people got money but we have the numbers and the owner class is terrified of people coming to the realization and hanging up against them

This was a fantastic biography of a great man - thank you for your hard word and excellent research and narration! I highly recommend the film 'Judas and The Black Messiah' to everyone who is interested in a recent depiction of Fred Hamption. Daniel Kaluuya was honestly cheated of an Oscar for an astonishing performance.

I have that Blu Ray movie and I cherish it because I see a lot of things that is going on today. I told this eldest coworker at my job about what that movie is warning us about back then versus now. I was telling her that the reason why this black on black crimes are happening is because our communities are being oppressed by the elites oppressors so that we will destroy ourselves and the Elite's can build up for their people because they are gentrifying the black community for themselves and bringing over their ancestors from the Ukraine. And the elder woman at the job had the nerve to say something crazy like ain't nobody oppressing these people they just crazy. By listening to these so called Christian people say some crazy stuff like that Im glad I denounce Christianity 18 years ago. The black community in the Carolinas aren't aware that if it wasn't for the black Panthers party there wouldn't be no WIC programs to feed the babies. The black community in the Carolinas are really behind the times 4real.❤

Only problem is that it doesn't go hard enough into communism, it avoids it. The BP were essentially a marxist leninist organisation, and the director of the movie has stated that he would have loved to depict communism more, but executives didn't allow him to. I think the director is a communist too.

There was nothing emotional about his stance or divisional. He should've been protected 100x's better than he was, but in the moment the truly gifted and special one's aren't seen as such.
