"Problems of The World Today", was my introduction to Hip Hop. I was tiny. Sitting at the record player with the album in my little hands, rhyming along while reading the lyrics on the "sleeve" lol. I played it over and over and over. Every single day! I love watching your videos. So informative, and they bring back such great memories! 😊🤗

D.L.B. is criminally underrated. Also, your mention of Freestyle being perhaps the essence of what the F4 could do is spot on. Tito' s and DLB's verse in that is still heralded as legendary rhymes.

I wish they`d released an LP in 83/84! Together with Fat Boys,K,Blow, Whodini, Run DMC and of course the Sugar Hill artists. How come Enjoy just relased 12 inches? It seems so to me. Thanks for the story about F-4000, looks like I have to buy Problems..I found it somewhat commercial , when I heard it several years ago. This was your first lesson, and a good one too. I have a lot to catch up! Thumbs up JayQuan!!

DLB's rhyme on fearless freestyle is pound for pound one of the greatest verses ever! "Make Brooke Sheilds throw her Calvin's out in the cold and wear DLB jeans til she's grey and old" "The way I crush MC's I can be your molar, cause I'm the real thing just like Coke a Cola" "Like the Italian Staillion when I'm in combat, make you think I'm gonna lose but it ain't really like that" Smokers!!

I'm searching since 83 or 84, for a livetrack, that i recorded from Dutch radio. It was very fast and heavy for that time. Only a drumbeat and some arabian sounds. The mc was saying things like ,,I say the B double O,the G,I,E come on somebody sing with me. Say BOOGIE(2X) Say Eighter(2) ,, Does that sound familiar to some oldschool mc or hiphop head ??? They said it was from New-York. peace !!!
