Love how they have the guitar stands at a live show. Brings a weird organized element to live music. And great stage visuals of course.

There's some scientific evidence suggesting that the act of staying physically balanced will help you stay balanced and in the groove musically. Adam Neely touched on it in one of his recent instagram Q&A series "How to get good at music". It also looks cool as fuck.

Pretty much every decently popular band you've ever seen live has guitar stands on stage at their shows. You just don't take note of them.
@nostalgiajunkie3 жыл бұрын
@@joshuahoman1184 y'all talkin bout the same stands?
@3655butters3 жыл бұрын
@@joshuahoman1184 uhhh yeah but must bands take their guitars off their stands to play them. Here they are playing their guitars while they are on their stands. Look closely. The guitars never move and they don't have any guitar straps over their shoulders. Typically you only see musicians do this if they are playing multiple instruments within the one song in order to facilitate quick transitions. Here it is just for visual effect.

Joe Dart doesn't actually use his fingers to play the bass. He uses his neck to command the bass to groove. The fingers are just there for cooling down the strings.

@@lazylion420 Nah, that's a baritone guitar and it actually is larger. It is tuned lower than a normal guitar, you can tell when he plays on the lower frets on the low strings in his solo, and to me it sounds like he's tuned to either B or C standard. Baritone guitars also have a longer neck by a few inches. *THE MORE YOU KNOW*
