When Joe's head bobs forward he's actually moving closer to the drums so he hears them sooner, allowing his brain to process the signal faster and keep perfect time when playing.

if you want just practice like that. play your hardest songs and funkiest with just that. You’ll find there are so many ways to put inflection to express yourself with rhythm and timing.

Well a guitar is a tambourine with a ton of different pitches - a very strange-looking tambourine, more or less. So I guess the drums are the other way around, basically a guitar but with a lot less different pitches - a very strange-looking guitar, more or less.

Nate's drumming is so earth-shaking that they not only had to put concrete bricks against the bass drum, they had to put all the guitars on stands to keep the guys from falling over! Joe is barely hanging on. Damn those final 30 seconds!
