Rate cuts commence in June 2024, taking 6-8 months to complete. A potential crash, if any, might occur by March 2025. The soft landing narrative is gaining traction, making this big recession everyone is calling for less likely. With $1 million from a business sale, I'm seeking profitable investment opportunities for the next 3 years.

The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.

Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

Like the FED did in holding interest rates at 0% for too long, I believe that they will have to raise rates which they should have months ago. The present rates are not being restrictive. Their record of screwing things up is amazing.

Why does the Fed need to talk so much? Just keep quiet and do your job. The power is going to their heads.

So you can understand their POV. If they move left or right the market isn’t shocked and you’re not whining because you didn’t see it coming. Transparency can be good at times.

hey Neel, with all due respect, Just saw you say on YT that no one has ever bought anything with bitcoin. No one has ever bought anything with gold, either. You can buy 15 gallons of gas with a 2024 $50 dollar gold coin, that is worth $3200. You aren't going to buy stuff with a barrel of oil either. You're in the Fed. Govt job. Lucky you. And no, don't own any bitcoin, or crypto.

Central banking. QE. Keynesian economics. Have all failed on their face. All they have to answer for is record total debt, record deficits and climbing, inflation, distortion, volatility, transfer of wealth to the top 1%, mismanagement/misallocations, below trend GDP growth, fiscal dominance. Pretty much all net negatives for greater society.
@McMcMike11
@McMcMike11 12 күн бұрын
Keynesian will always give you grow GDP per year, ex, two years ago America fell into recession by its technical definition, and what did they do to fight that ? Infrastructure bill. What do you mean fiscal dominance ? Monetary one is always at play

Not really. A sensible tax policy like we had in the 1950s and 1960s at the height of our economic power was fine. Spending is excessive but GOP tax cuts are just as much to blame.
