Man, 5:20 wasn't in your top 1000 Federer points video! Just when you think you've seen them all! Incredible!!!!!!!

One of the most remarkable shots he's ever hit. The fact that his ball landed into the singles court too lol

@@RazOlsAw man, when I just read back my comment, I had a feeling I might’ve spoken with too much certainty, which is unusual for me for something I didn’t gather evidence for. What I should’ve said is I don’t remember that being in the video! Nice!

Cool video 👍 Would be interesting to find more matches where the doubles partner would end up coaching his teammate in the future! 😀

Starry stuff, so fast! Like others, I'd love to see more of these less shown/doubles matches. Thank you so much.

Thank you very much for these gems! But didn't they also play Indian Wells 2004 against each other? Their very first match (before Miami). It's a true old school: World #1 and #2 playing in doubles as well as in singles.

Wish Fedal would pair up and play doubles on ATP!

They discussed it after their 2017 Laver doubles. Fed said he didn't want that (and Rafa looked so sad). However, that was when they were both still active in singles.

I've actually seen the indian wells one before. The other one is older so didn't. I feel there's probably a few other matches that are less famous, but what do I know.

The two best ever single backhands in the world on the same side in doubles, as if one was enough to play against, the outcome could only be what we know it to be...

Rome 2006, despite Roger losing, he outplayed Rafa on clay that day and should have won. Hamburg 2007 when he bagelled Rafa on clay was great too.

I remember seeing both those matches live when they aired and was dreaming of one day seeing both of them play doubles together. Then the dream year 2017 came, when not only did they play together in doubles at the LC, but only both dominated the whole year and diving all the major spoils between them. Favorite Fedal matches: Rome 2006, where Roger played arguably the best clay tennis of his life, on a par with RG 2011. A match which many fans of both, believe Roger deserved to win it more. Wimbledon 2007, the overall tennis quality was better from both in the 2007 final than in the famous 2008 one, imo. The drama was bigger in 2008, indeed. Australian Open 2009, where during the first 4 sets and some moments from the 5th were some of the best tennis ever played in all of history. Australian Open 2017, because both were back at the top after months of injuries and uncertainties, for being the dream match that made the whole word tune in to tennis again and for being the match that kick-started the whole 2017 dream season for both of them and for us all.

It's funny how you wouldnt expect Nadal to win (relatively) against Federer precision and super nuanced control, but... Seems that sometimes raw power wins against perfection and elegance😂

Yeah shows how weak today's tennis is and why less people watch it than between 2003-2019 viewing has dropped massively now than federer is retired and nadal is very likely too retire real soon aswel. That speaks for itself Alcarez and sinner are good but overall these defensive slower courts are less thrilling than the federer nadal rivalry from 2005-2012
