Cubics are super fun. You can do 2 different things with them... you can otk with crimson nova like you just did... and you can burn them as well! 2 very powerful wincons.

@@RinriAlter Can you help me out? Last night I had a duel where I used Crimson Nova and someone had an XYZ monster that switches a monster to defense and negate their effects. It had less than 3000 attack, so Crimson Nova should have been immune. But the effect worked. Is there something I’m missing? Is it a glitch on Konami’s failing? I need answers. I still won, but I need answers.

Without avian they auto lose to raigeki/lightning vortex. Yet, even if they make the barrier statue, they can still lose to dark ruler and/or droplet.

It's kinda dumb how ridiculously strong cubics are, despite being an archetype with the disadvantage that only 3 of their main deck monsters are the only ones easy to summon (including crimsom nova, which is a monster with an special summon condition too)

I get bored watching a sped up version of it 😂 I'm cool with dudes making a few moves, deck searching and summoning half your deck or more in the process though? Who decided this design choice was a good idea?

It's not really different for others card game, like Hearthstone :) it's a feature of that type of game, do as many combos as you can to enjoy the feeling of showing to your opponent what you can actually do, and see his respond. I agree that sometimes this is hard and not fun, I often quit in the middle of a game because my opponents don't know other decks than meta x)

Soooo, the bird up player put all his monsters in attack position, so if you had the right hand, you could simply lightning storm chain forbidden chalice sending a monster to turn off all negates. Or you could bait out the apex avian negate and lightning storm, but then you still have a negate. This is exactly the setup I would have done when I first started playing bird up and why I switched to apex avian infinite negates
