Love your channel Boss. So much cool stuff. I need help finding an obscure alt rock video. If anyone will know it, you will. I've searched for it since it came on MTV (uk) once in '96. Long story short it's a black and white video from a British band and the video concept was that people were chasing a £5 note that kept getting away and the video ended with the note going down a drain. I've searched for the video ever since. Nearly 30 years! but with no luck. Keep an eye for me please boss. Kee up the good work.

The Feelies were the first song on every episode of our college radio show in Santa Cruz '86-'88. Lou Reed loved them so much he brought them on his "New York" album tour.

I saw the Feelies live in New York in summer 1980 (or 81?). They played "Crazy Rhythms", perhaps their best LP. Thanks to post this video.

Saw them every time they made it thru Boston. Yes, Velvets inspired but I also think they inspired a whole generation of nerd rockers like Weezer and of course, Luna who nabbed their drummer Stanley. Guitar bliss.

Also got Justin from The Chills, so instant supergroup Well, Dean was keen on the Feelies anyway. They are on his top five desert island bands. Stanley only stayed for the first record I think

Saw The Feelies at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor back in the 90's. Someone yelled for them to play a certain song, and Glen Mercer replied, "Shut up. We're gonna play everything."

Sounds like Lou Reed himself. The lead guitar even plays a bit like Sterling!

Mind that the femal bassist wasn't invited at the interview, old times.

Couple years later I saw an interview with Mercury Rev and the female flute player in character New York style was swearing like a sailor!

Nor Stanley Demesky, their male drummer...maybe they did not want too as someone is saying there.
