A friend of mine is a Met Officer and he recently told me that either in briefings or in internal memo's, all Police Officers have been told the legalities of public photography. If any officer doesn't know, then they should, because they've all been briefed.

They come out of the police car full of hope but had to retreat back to the vehicle and discuss with each other what went wrong!

I'm getting sick fed up of all police officers of every police station mention about filming and taking pictures of police officers private cars when they are constantly doing it to us with their ANPR cameras to find out who we are and where we live. We are not privy to that info so why do they worry so much?

Everything they dont agree with is either strange or odd, and their paranoia is getting beyond a joke, registration plates are not private, they belong to the DVLA for full view in public, and we have to remind them that is the law

I think the way you speak throws them off, professional, polite and not willing to accept any attempt to prevent you from doing a legal activity.

They hate there authority challenged, ego over law, generations of police abusing there powers, auditors are showing this to the greater public.

PARANOIA! I notice the first plod was who said you’d been there for 30 mins he knew what you were doing suddenly changed his tone and was trying to say your a thief by filming the plant machinery it just shows how devious they really are…..

Noticed they were recording you with their body warn cameras and did not tell you. tut tut

I wondered why the second car stopped. Then I realised the first guy was just a pretend policeman. When will they realise, it is perfectly lawful to film personal vehicles of police staff and officers?

He hasn’t got the right to keep asking you if you make it clear that you want to be left alone and you are engaged in legal activities.

They absolutely hate being called out on their policy regarding body worn cameras.

So standing in the one place for 30 minutes is now classed as “strange”!!!!??????They really are abysmal.

The "but" is always there, " is it illegal, no, but...." "is there a time limit, no, but....." The best and correct cops we the ones that drove straight out and went about their business. They are like a dogs c*ck, they have to be in.
@seymourbutts93642 жыл бұрын
Strange how none of them got the memo from the NPCC saying that people taking video's "should be left alone"...But they all seem to have read the one that says, If a person is taking video's then accuse them of "videoing peoples registrations"

They don't like it when you correct them and know what they can and can't do. I've noticed how petulant they get and physh for problems. Please keep up the great work reporting on crown employees over stepping there authority.

Hand held radio usage whilst driving. Unlawful even for the police.

You need to take action against that cop for calling you a thief ,for trying to film the building site.loved the way they scurried off once they new they were outclassed and on a hiding to nothing

These audits highlight the issues arising from poorly trained officers and their lack of basic awareness of the role for which they take the oath of office to uphold the common law.
