In myanmar we salt the fish and fermented for 6 or more months and eat like salad with lot of herbs. Like lemogress, thai lime leaves, birdeye peppers, limes juice, cilantro,Colantro, galaga, onions, garlics and some mfg. We have 3 or mores recipes for fermented fish.
