@@83541 Going after the French girl makes even more sense if you want Stuelke the following year. You need more than two quality bigs if you are going to run, run, run. Stuelke's speed is great, but it would nice to compensate for her lack of size by having a very tall player in addition to Boston as part of the rotation. A Boston , Malonga, Stuelke rotation would give you a variety of speed and size. Plus you could go very big if Stuelke learned to play some 3.

I came up with the comparison to Caitlin Clark I haven't heard before: Barry Sanders Set college records, drafted by a bad franchise, the most dynamic player, no championship Sanders had 10 fumbles his rookie season, but never again. They didn't win in a diluted college format, they surely aren't going to win with them in a talent concentrated wnba. I agree with your take on Malonga. But how in the world would the Fever be able to draft her? At worst, she will be the number 2 pick. And although everyone is saying that Paige (who I love) will be number 1, Malonga, if she agrees to come over, could end up being the number one pick. So, yes, if the Fever could get her, they should. But where they are drafting, they have no chance of getting her.
