@Spikey Scenes No, It is not a 4 x 4. It is a Crossover. It was designed with JEEP (Chrysler). But has a much better suspension and better gas mileage.

I love these guys, but too bad they didn't spend more time on learning about the car and not on being cute and entertaining. If Vicky sat in the front seat, she would have seen that interior is upgraded compared to the much less 500. Tiff's comment on the center gauge is 100% misleading because it is configurable on the fly and can prominently display speed, along with other important gauges, plus trip computer and infotainment information. This whole confusion on being a lifestyle car could have been cleaned up if they took a moment to look at the 500X lineup. There is the elegant street version or the off-road sporty version. Two different characters / lifestyles.

I was invited by Fiat to drive this at Boughton House last year. The "off road look" 500 is better to look at, better to drive and had a better interior than the one in this film. The 1.4 multi jet is the best engine to have than the diesels

I honestly quite like it. Actually a bit more than the jeep renegade. I was originally planning on getting the renegade but I genuinely Like this car. the only thing that got on my nerve was that there was only 1 exhaust tip, which got my ocd acting up. But I think im going with the 500x this weekend when i go shopping.

@Spikey Scenes I did, and thereas a lot to love but also a lot to hate. I would get it 100% over the jeep, but something to note, reliability is terrible in so many ways from the day that i bought it to current ownership. Random electronic issues are the most common, my licence plate light goes out all the time and tapping it with my hand causes it to fix itself the dealer wont fix it for whatever reason. The aircon plastic vent clips are terribly designed and they break off all the time ive replaced them 5x now. Ive also had the transmission shutoff on me mid drive a few times due to electronics failure. But i got a first year model, and maybe a lot of these issues have been fixed in later year models. best part for me is comfort for the price range i love the seats and leather and how it drives, and incredible brakes for a car in this class

@Spikey Scenes The AWD system is def one os the best in this class, its amazing in new england snow. Ive almost never gotten stuck in it and it corrects for wheels spin very immediately

Spot on! Very superior minded, too good for anything less than a Ferrari. The 500X Lounge is an excellent choice for first car owners. Easy parking and comfortable view height to navigate and feel confident about the awareness of your surroundings, and very easy and affordable to maintain.

Look when he pushes start... the entire panel flexes back. Geez. I had the normal 500 for about a year. Bought it new. We have rather harsch winters here and when it sat still for a week in the winter it ran on 3 cylinders for a while and the dashboard had a small ominous flickering on one occation. The start/stop system freaked out a couple of times and I had to start it manually. They are fun cars and all but I sold it because I didn't trust it. I don't think I will buy a Fiat again even though it was great fun to drive.

My neighbors have a 500L. Within 8 months it had 3 trips to the Garage and the water pump had gone. 18 months in amongst many other issues, they've had a new big end put in! I think I'll pass on the 500X
