The Field Marshal start up

This tractor was purchased new in 1947 by my father.
It has been beautifully restored by its current owner, Nicol Mackenzie, who took four years to complete the project.
As a small boy I was fascinated by the fact that it was started with the blast of a 12 bore cartridge.
