it’s great to see all the improvements you keep making on these, the art is getting very beautiful. I only have Battles Of The English Civil War and Battles Of Medieval Britain, really enjoying them. I am looking at making a video to show what I came up with to play the game, just not sure where to start. I am planning on getting one of your more modern modules

Sounds great Mike. I’m looking forward to this one (as I game with miniatures on MDF hexes I’ll need to see how many “walls” I need - and doubtless more trees too). I’ll keep an eye on Amazon too…

Thanks Geoff. I think the mission with the most walls has 21 walls, with each wall running the length of one hex side. Yes, definitely more trees in this one!

I don't get it. To what degree is this or is this not a remake of Fields of Normandy 1?

It uses the same basic system. The Fields of Normandy 2 built considerably on FoN1 with quite a few additions and rule changes. This does the same again. So you would recognise it as a 'Fields of Normandy' game but it is a standalone, distinct game. Put it this way, anyone who didn't like the first one probably won't like this one either! Full playthrough coming soon so you'll be able to see how it differs/compares. Cheers.

I’m liking the larger maps on this one. … would those work with FoN1 and FoN2?

I haven’t tried to be honest. The changes in game design between the three games make it uncertain. I guess you could print one off BGG and try.
