I had to look this one up. I almost thought it was a recent retro-inspired fan game. I’m surprised anyone was willing to use the license for another game after the spectacular garbage that was the PS1 game and this late after the film’s release.

Yeah the PS1 game is... Special. A friend had it when I grew up and I barely remember much of it except we always used cheats in it.

I thought I would have remembered something like this too! I love the touch of using real-world brand names as ads in the 23rd century, for brands that barely made it out of the 20th. Exactly the sort of idiocy they pulled back then. Oh if only that was the lowest gaming ever sank.

Not really since this game has other mechanics at play but there's certainly some similar feelings.
