Not super super excited, but I am glad to get spears. It’s a shame they discontinued doing Spear weapon skins for BL weapons and legendaries. I wonder if they’ll fill in the gaps where it makes sense (Aurene/Dragon Legendary weapons as least) I’m most curious for Engi Spear actually because… like… what’s that gonna be? Also Vindicator had the Final Fantasy dragoon like leap, and now they can use spears!!🎉

@@KROOF that would be a bit broken in WvW though :'D And they said something about revisisting wvw so I am really interesting what they come up with. Maybe the oposite, wallsliding (even in enemy terretory)

I think I'm having some mixed feelings honestly. Janthir Wilds looks great, but I think what I would really want to see from an expansion is some way to revitalize this game, and Janthir WIlds is not that. Guild Wars 2 is a game that has never really been able to live up to its own potential, and while I think that this expansion model for it is healthy, I do think that it precludes a release of the kind of scope that would be necessary for the game to have a bit of a "rebirth". And that saddens me because I think that the MMO market is in the perfect place to be disrupted. Dawntrail's reception seems to be falling short of FF14's highs and a not insignificant portion of its playerbase has reached a breaking point as it concerns the games casualization and I haven't heard ESO even mentioned in years. I think Guild Wars is the perfect game to capitalize on this moment if it could just be the best version of itself and release something that's really firing on all cylinders, but I just don't know if that's possible unless NCSoft decides to take a risk on making a large scale reinvestment into this game... and I don't think that will happen.

First expansion in history of GW2 i am not goong to buy. They are comming out to fast. The cash grabbing model is disturbuling. SOTO gave me PTSD with how rushed it was.
