At age 12 she went to work with Cynthia Kenyon. Worked there for 2 years, then went to college, then moved back to set up an investment fund. It is amazing what you can do when you are inspired.

God they're beautiful. And the setup is beautiful too.
I met a man from Kyrgyzstan who wore his years so lightly. He seemed no more than half his span. "How come?" I begged polity. "The trick with age" replied the sage, "Is - have no business with it. Try not to ask how long life last. But how you mean to live it!"

Just like previous generations who didn't have a choice, huh? Eventually more time will become an option for humans, and they will (with little regard to how we feel today) choose the obvious: more time with loved ones, bearing witness to the fruit of technological endeavours, and gaining wisdom and insight beyond what anyone currently has, while still having the health and rigour to contribute. This is a worthy goal that is in line with the axiom of "use your time wisely" by creating more of it

Jesus, are people still posting that shit in 2018? Aging is kinda mainstream science now, not a trigger for romantic philosophy quotes. Wake up dude.

Matthew, do you understand the amount of different treatments you'd have to endure in the hopes of reversing your ageing? It's not a simple task at all, and by age 80 most wouldn't want to endure it all. They'd be ready to die by then. A simple pill would have been much more easier.
