This is objectively wrong. Because Endurance and Durability are two sides of the same coin. Durability is how much damage you can take without going down, Endurance how long can you stay on your feet AFTER the Damage is done. You need to be massively Durable if you have massive ammounts of endurance. If you have to dodge attacks you do not have a great amount of Durability.

He still gets hit and damaged by them in his normal form, his healing is just high enough that it doesnt seem like it. Remember Zoans heal faster than others, that's another reason why Luffy is always bouncing back as much as he does. If Kaido was in Whitebeard's shoes and I mean the exact same scenario with all the Admirals and Vice Admirals attacking him while he is sick with a hole in his chest and half his face missing, he would have died too especially after the newly formed Post Impel Down Blackbeard crew jumps him and shoots him to death.

@ that was retconned…if luffy was “shortening his lifespan” (which is an over simplistic statement) by using his gears he’d be dead already …the fact is ..is that the times when you see luffy being drained from using a gear he hasn’t trained properly is just him getting tired and fatigued …it had nothing to do with his “lifespan” that makes no sense …it’s literally his devil fruit power …why would he have a consequence that harsh whilst everyone else with overpowered devil fruits have none …which is unfair and inconsistent…the only thing that actually “shortened his lifespan” was the surgery from ivankov and that wasn’t that much since one piece humans can easily live past 100 so 10 or 20 years off his life doesn’t really mean anything, and plus there may be a way to counteract it since technology in one piece is eons above anything that we have …so applying our real world logic to one piece makes no sense …

(On panel) a sizable amount of Kaido’s damage was not from luffy. he was scarred across his body by zoro and fought Yamato 1v1 for 11 chapters which is 44% of the chapters he fought luffy 1v1 and it was stated he wasn’t holding back against her. He was also damaged by other worst gen members and the scabbards. No Matter how negligible you think that may be damage like that adds up as luffy and kid have both stated. Fatigue is also extremely important to consider. Kaido expended his energy and ACOC on multiple characters that were not not luffy while luffy expended all energy and haki on attacking Kaido. As stated earlier he fought Yamato 1v1 for 44% of the chapters he fought luffy 1v1. He also stated that he would not be holding back against her. He used several large scale elemental attacks including tornados, boro breaths, wind slashed etc. on the scabbards and worst gen as well as expending ACOC attacks on Kin, zoro, law, denjiro, and Yamato. Yamato for a bunch of chapters. Not sure the extent of stamina this took but Kaido was holding up an entire island. We know it’s linked to stamina because the weaker he got the weaker his hold on the island was. It also exhausted momo to produce clouds so it must have either taken a lot of energy to produce or a lot of energy to maintain. Or maybe both. Kaido had virtually no rest time whatsoever, while luffy had recovery time, medical treatment, and ate food during the battle. Luffy was still exhausted but external help still matters especially when chopper has stated luffy has an exceptional recovery rate. Kaido chose not to avoid luffy’s final attack to test it against his own. Most likely to test the whole joyboy thing. Luffy’s final attack took a very long time to build up and actually attack and Kaido allowed luffy to do it and told him he would not try to dodge. Kaido and luffy were knocked unconscious at the same time. A distinct difference was that Kaido was knocked through the ground and into molten lava which I feel also contributed to his inability to get back up and caused him further environmental damage. Luffy enters forms that severely drain his stamina to fully match Kaido. While Kaido was going back and forth with gear 5th with just his normal hybrid. Kaido’s method of fighting is much more sustainable than luffy’s and suggests he would ultimately last longer in battle if everything was even.

Whoever thinks that Kaido wins, let me simply break it down to you: -Whitebeard is pirate king level because he was equal to Roger or very close to him. They clashed many times and it was never mentioned that WB was defeated -Kaido is not. The so-called absurd haki difference isn't as absurd as you think. Whatever whitebeard has done in the story using haki, kaido has done it too. And his devil fruit doesn't make that much of a difference honestly. He can destroy the entire island if he wants too but anyone with advanced armament can stop that power dead in its tracks. The admirals did it. Why not kaido? Don't say he was old. The gura gura no mi is still the same regardless of the time period or the user. And kaido can fly whereas whitebeard can't. Kaido has ranged attacks too, is faster and more durable than whitebeard. They have similar endurance. The kaido downplay has to stop. Y'all think kaido is weak because Luffy took him down. But you never account for the help Luffy needed. And also Luffy is super strong in the story. He is at the point where he can put up a solid fight against any of the old gen you people like to glaze. Kaido destroys whitebeard high diff. But whitebeard is a more likable character and has a bigger fan base so y'all are compelled to try and find a win for him when he isn't at the level you think he's at.

DLSS (and to a lesser extent FSR) is absolutely a net negative on the gaming ecosystem because it's an omnipresent crutch to hide trash performance both on the hardware and software level. And thanks to that being widespread enough, you end up with generations of games which practically require it to play at a decent frame rate since "optimization" now means we have to be able to actually render 15 frames per second at 720p and then can call it good enough. With more frame generation and "better" upscaling, that will soon drop to 10, maybe 5. And then some nvidia genius will notice that this is an issue regarding input lag and say that the solution has to be nvidia Clairvoyance™ or something which uses more AI to predict the user input, rather than going back to actually rendering frames and giving the player useful feedback.

I think prime Kaido is the one Luffy beats. Oden straight told him to get as strong as he could for when ''Joyboy'' showed up someday. I think Oden was aware, at that time, he and Kaido were at the same level, and that's why he said that. The Kaido we see in ''present time'' looks stronger in all aspects to me. I think he honed his haki to his limits, and got physically more developed. At any moment do we see him looking ''old'', or weakened, nor someone mentions his age or that he's going downhill. They talk about him like he's at his peak, and he's not even a normal human so we cannot measure him by his age the same we do with other characters, I guess. Not to mention that people that age in One Piece don't seem to be any weaker.
