That is because both Carrie and Keith are headlining artists and have complete different schedules. Plus Keith said when he recorded this song with Carrie. He didn't realize it was going to sky rocketed like it. He was told when Carrie's fans heard she was on his "Ripcord" album and found this song and it took off.

And remember first time, Carrie toured with Keith. Carrie was Keith's opening act on her second album "Carnival Ride". Everybody said Keith and Carrie had a falling out, which was untrue. They split the tour, her label, Arista wanted to find out if Carrie could fill out arenas on her own. And answer was a definite yes.

Keith wasn't intended to release as a single. What changed Keith's mind. Simple Carrie's fans got a hold of it, when Carrie said she recorded a duet with Keith call "The Fighter" and as they say rest is history.

Every time, Keith adds that extra line to the song, Carrie you are so beautiful. Carrie laughs it off. Keith is trying to pay Carrie a compliment, but Carrie doesn't think she is beautiful. I know everybody else think she is.
