best reviewer ever. Just what I always wanted to see, a test where the bicycle is taken offroading plus mudding as well and the best part is you covered the video from every angle and not just POV .You rock my friend

Thanks! The "side car" shots started out as just a fun new view, but turned out to provide good information.

@@LAHover I was just wanted you to listen to how it sounded and maybe let me know what you think about the build. could not find another way to contact you. sorry for posting the play list on your video. I have been a fan of your channel for a long time.

All good fellow builder :) No need to apologize, I just got mixed up with the two different comments. I actually took a look and left a comment on the 11 minute video. I think you did good.

To solve the headlight adjustment - loosen BOTH screws on BOTH sides. This will allow another degree of angle. Then tighten them in. I found the same problem with the saddle. To cure it, remove the saddle and unscrew the top soft part to reveal the hard plastic skeleton below. This will allow you to trim about a half an inch off of each side(with a hacksaw) to give it a narrower nose. Then put back on the soft part. I also like the tires but the thread is a bit too shallow so they only last about 800 miles.

Easier solution on the headlight. Take out both screws and flip the headlight upside down and then reinsert the screws. There's a little set screw in there now it doesn't interfere with me putting the light up or down at the angle I like.

Damn, you're always a step ahead of me! Now my house is done the flood restoration, I can have some me time. I picked up a unused ebike Engwe 14" wheeled folder returned to a Princess Auto {Cdn harbor frieght) for 200$, Figuring if it's one part or another a swap would be easy. Something in the wiring, complete loom brain box throttle etc 120$ . Amazon should be delivering tomorrow, shouldn't take too long to install. Riding estyle...

Hey I know the video isn't about this but it's the most recent one so I figured you'd see the comments I was wondering if you could join two motorized bike engines by the shaft with just a coupler I've seen other people do twin engine builds but they bind them at the jackshaft I want to see if that's something to look into. Also awesome vids!!!

Harbor freight has a 212 racing engine that I will use on my next build... It'll be my first 4 stroke engine... P.S. ethanol free gas makes all the difference in the world... although it's a little more expensive, it's mind blowing how much better my engine starts and performs..

It's the same seat as on my Fiddo L3 and i have no problems peddling with it , have to wonder why they didn't go with the L3's 48v 23 amp hour battery .

When are you going to build one, compared to a two-stroke it should be a piece of cake.

Excellent review. Sounds honest. If you have tried a Lectric Expedition, how does this compare? Expedition seems to have a better display, better rack and a bit more attention to detail. I prefer the cast wheels on this one though…

Great review well done, with the headlight is it possible turn the mounting bracket in front of the basket upside down and mount the light again? Also what is the charge time on the battery?
@alexiezachariades48722 жыл бұрын
What are your thoughts on the Fucare Gemini and Gemini X? They seem to be a direct competitor to this bike, being utilitarian. Cargo hauling bike. Almost the same price and same amp hours, although the Gemini comes with 2 smaller batteries (20 combined amo hours) that you can upgrade to up to 30 amp hours. Gemini has a really nice display also. I'd love to know what you think as I'm about to order a Gemini, but it seems new with very few reviews out there so far.

I would have to take a good long look. It's hard to compare a bike I have to one I don't. I would say trust your gut and decide what bike looks like a better deal.

Any comment on the cast wheels vs spoke wheels on other ebikes? Any concern on the durability vs spoked wheels?
@LAHover2 жыл бұрын
I tend to prefer spoked wheels when given the choice, but on these purpose built e-bikes I'm good with both. Mags on gas bikes are sketchy because the ones listed as "motorized bike mag wheels" are poor quality.

I have a question, you said that the speed fully unlocked is 25mph? That is a concern for me as i would love to get the full 30mph that is advertised, is that something to do with every other bike, firmware problem or anything else?

On flat ground with me weighing 210lb I hit 25mph. I'm not sure if it can be unlocked to go faster.
