Holy crap thank you so much. I spent about 3 days downloading roughly 20 hours of streams from my channel and couldn't import into PP due to this error. I was going to re-encode them but it would have taken hours. Simply changing the file extension did it! Thank you again.

None of these work. Premiere blows. I have an mp4 file with the HVEC codec and it just hates the file for no reason and claims it has the wrong codec. No other program has an issue with it. This crap is why I don't pay for Premiere anymore. YAAAARRR
