I go to his lab in Mesa, AZ. He’s been known to drop in from time to time. I shot his Nikon F3 when he was in Paris since he left it at the Lab for people to check out. Shout out strap film lab!

@@Overexposed1oh for sure. Actually Phoenix Arizona is kinda becoming a bit of a hub in the Southwest of film photography. We have the well known Phoenix Film Revival crew/lab, Strap Film lab (DBook’s lab), Wilson Camera in Scottsdale, Tempe camera, Heat Sync labs darkroom, and my personal favorite: Analog Alliance.

i sold my zi 2 months ago, i hope the price doesnt skyrocket or im gonna feel real dumb about the price i got for mine. i might pick up a ga645 wide one day. i just didnt ever use the zoom function so the zi didnt make sense to me. my main issue with the ga645 system as a whole is the max shutter speed. having to stop down to accomodate for a max speed of 1/400 negates a lot of the desirable qualities of shooting in medium format. you can get around it with an nd, but then you have to accomodate for it when you meter because its a ttf meter. and it resets your exposure compensation every time you power the camera off. so for what i was trying to use it for it just became much more fiddly and cumbersome. it did open my eyes to the fact that i dont really mind fussing over a camera on a day to day carry basis, but i did learn that if im going to have to put more effort into using whatever camera im using, i want to enjoy the process. and i didnt enjoy the “process” of using my ga645 the way i wanted to use it. so now i carry an rb67 eberywhere 😅

Heh, locally for me, Chris Godwin on the Tampa Bay Bucs uses either a Contax G1 or G2 (I can't recall), but there was a local story on it(I think he goes to the same lab too) Looks like he takes it seriously based on his IG page and some of the stuff he's shown on.

I've used the GA645Zi for years. It's a wonderful travel camera. Unfortunately, it suffers from LCD bleed in the door, really poor design, virtually all will have it. Image quality is spectacular and I can still use it despite the ribbon cable issue.

i used the zi for a bit myself, and it just never really clicked for me. it occurred to me that if i want a point and shoot ill just use my 35mm point and shoot. im perfectly happy with my medium format kit to be a larger package.

Dude, the lack of gringo's knowlegde... that part of the ceremony is not inspired by "The Last Supper" it was inspired by "La Fiesta de Los Dioses" a painting by Jan van Bijlert the guy painted in blue characterizes Bako the God of wine and party and not Jesus.
