Massive life chapter change for me came yesterday when I didn't get my first choice major in university (in my course you choose your speciality/major at the end of 2nd year). At first I was devastated but upon reflection, I feel hopeful and happy about it. This feels more right than my first choice ever did, and I feel more confident in myself in knowing it's what I'm doing.

I am currently working towards a big exam next year and I dropped from my masters program before that because it was emotionally and physically draining me. But ever since I've changed my goal to another, life has become less of an everyday struggle. I also am in the process of coming out of a relationship. 2018 has been a rollercoaster ride and damn, I love a rush and adventures. I'm currently in a new-ish chapter of my life. I moved to Louisiana around late June to start building my life with my boyfriend and pets. We are still getting settled in and going through relationship struggles and financial struggles. Watching your videos and listening to your podcasts give me strength and hope for things to get better. I’m entering a pretty weird chapter of my life. I moved out completely on my own right after high school. I was doing really well for myself. I was doing well in college and was on my way to success. Fast forward 2 years and I’m dating this guy who manages to completely turn my life upside down. I end up moving an hour away from my family with him and his two friends, and it’s just down hill from there. I ended up having to take a break from school to catch up on my finances. Fast forward three months and we split up, and not in a nice way. I’m back living with my dad, broke as a joke, my depression and anxiety at its worst. But, things are looking up from here. Okay, so I just finished college, where I spent 3 years studying Touristic Activities Management, which was pretty much my "safety net degree" that I felt like I should do to ensure I would have a well-paid job, and now I'm going to spend the next year working to save up money so I can move to London to (finally) take a degree on what I'm actually passionate about - creative writing and journalism. I'm super excited, although I feel nervous and scared as well. It feels like this grown-up thing is becoming real and that freaks me out, but at the same time I'm really looking forward to this chapter of my life 'cause I feel it's going to help me grow A LOT and by the end of it I'll be moving to another country, alone, to pursue my dream and omg, it just makes me really happy. My boyfriend and I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment for 9 months. When we came back from our vacation we decided to move upstairs to a two bedroom. I wasn't very happy about moving because I was disappointed that this apt has tan walls with a red accent wall, the floors haven't been touched since 1976, the dish washer is outdated and its missing a knob, the cabinets are falling apart. I was depressed in the beginning. I get attached to things very easily. I didn't want to leave memories behind in our first apartment together and with me being the first girlfriend he has ever lived with. We talked to our landlord and she let us paint that wall grey and my grandma bought me an iffel tower wall decal along with wine art because that's always been something I wanted. My boyfriend fixed our cabinets, we bought a new dishwasher from someone for $20 and it's so pretty. Been decluttering and I'm starting to feel way better. Also I'm really hoping I'm pregnant because my period is a week late. We lost one so we have been planning for another. I love you kalyn you're the gyst. I literally get excited when you post new videos. I want to go back and watch all of your old youtober videos and get ready to watch your new ones. I want to listen to your book on audible. I actually just started at the University of Ottawa, which is very far away from my mom and so it is a new chapter for me that i'm excited about. I feel like I will learn a lot about myself in the next four years being on my own. But a new start is so refreshing.
