In the Final is a MUCH more bombastic theme for a battle for the fate of the nation, especially when BOWSER is your only hope, but here, they have not had the balls to get this dark since super paper mario. The battle is already lost the moment you arrived in holijolli village, here you're just trying to scrape one last possible victory.

Nintendo picked up on the Mario & Luigi development project, so we might see some Mario & Luigi games in the future. Whether or not we'll see remakes is uncertain. AlphaDream was one of the best video game developers ever in my opinion. The Mario & Luigi series offered something no other mario series reached. The main series' games are good but generic in general. The spin-off's..., are just spin-offs. Paper Mario..., well TTYD and Super offered lots of emotion and creativity, but the other three were generic at best. Mario & Luigi though..., every single game is different and offers something new and interesting, heck, even Paper Jam to an extent. You can't simply go wrong with Alphadream.

At this rate, the chances of relaunching AlphaDream as an in-name-only unit of Nintendo, as well as the chances of a revival or straight-up reboot of the Mario and Luigi RPG series, and releasing all subsequent installments of the series exclusively to the Nintendo Switch are most likely slim, if not absolutely none.

@@ZacharyNoah Rareware had a hard economic time too and when they said so, THREE companies, big companies also, were fighting to keep them, they only didn't stayed with Nintendo because Microsoft gave more money (not so good decision _in my opinion)_ Yatch Club Games also went bankrupt while doing Shovel Knight. Anyways totally different case, when they released it they recovered themselves so, different case. But ya get the point, I'm not saying we hype up like "YES THEY PROBABLY COMING BACK" but not be totally demotivated. Nintendo *maybe* learnt from letting Rareware go (even tho Rare were the ones to take such desition) and will fight a bit more for AlphaDream as they have been straving with Mario RPGs since, instead of doing the casual Sticker Star system like since also Sticker Star. Anyways, still I wouldn't mind Paper Mario to take the path its going now, just add a little bit more of the first two (or any RPG, tbh. I'm not going for the "if its not like the first two its crap" mentality): XP system and original characters (Origami twins are, well, two original characters only) and a litle bit more original partners also, really, just give a hat to a mustached Chomp and that's original. And with M&L on the other side, Mario RPGs would be going through a great and nice and original and shiny looking path again.

This song, not just your amazing remix, but especially the original is not just one amazing heroic and sentimental track. It is the mirror of your history. It mirrors all the pain and desperate times you have gone through and survived. You have seen how an alien race - just because they had no home and felt lonely - started to destroy an entire species, an entire society just to start their new life there. On the other hand, you have survived and seen all the pain that has come through those aliens. Your friends and loved ones have been killed and all that takes your last sense in life away from you. It is nothing left, you have a tiny bit of hope, but it seems almost pointless, even impossible to ever change! You have seen the disastee at the beginning. The toads in the beginning town has been kidnapped and you feel bad. You visit the town at the top and all what you find is destruction and you get defeated by Shroobs. A long time later you will revisit this village and have bad feelings and this gets worse when you enter the toad village. You see all the ruins and you know you are too late. This damage is and will be forever part of the town. It has marked in history and is irreparable. This song is literally a big summary of what I have felt over my playthroughs. As a child, as a teenager that is becoming an adult. It is about friendship, the sense in life or more like: What is what we really need and wish for? Kinda reminds me of War....and it fits the game that people lost their home and family to absolutely shocking brutality... Maybe some people think I over-interprete this, but this is exactly what always comes to my mind when I listen to this master piece that always let appear some tears in my eyes.

BJ Kaye defenitely them, they take a lot of enjoyment in destroying planets, due to going insane because of their planet's star dying. But they also HAVE to do it if you think about it. The only way to make a planet habitable for them would be to...make it inhabitable for others So while they are still terrible, and have done many atrocities on the Mushroom Kingdom, you still feel a sense of guilt taking out any shroobs, since you KNOW they're a dying species, and killing one is just bringing them one step closer to extinction. It also makes Elder Princess Shroob a much more tragic final boss than any other I've seen. They don't fight to destroy the mushroom kingdom...they don't fight to rule it...they fight to avenge their sister and kind, and save what little remains of the shroobs from extinction... but losing also means the extinction of Humans in the Mario world... the fight is one of the perfect interpretations of a *"One shall stand, one shall fall"* kind of fight.

When getting to elder princess shroob phase 2 I was like “why is she shooting her minions down the UFOs?)

I know that people say that she had too much hp in the American release. But I think how ridiculously high her hp is is a perfect way to show how other worldly these shoots actually are to the bros. Plus with the music and part way through if you not the best at countering her attacks it really makes you feel desperate while trying to beat her. And it's an amazing experience that way. If this series somehow continues without alpha dream, I hope the team making it does a great job, but also I hope they bring back the hard mode that was there with Dream team and use it as an excuse to make certain bosses have way more health than normal to give that feeling again.

I'd name this remix "Changing History" because of the whole time travel thing in PiT, going from past and present, in order to stop the Shroobs, with a "What-If" kind of thing that, both Mario and Luigi know they are changing the flow of time despite their acts of "heroism" to save both the present and past Mushroom Kingdom, plus the babies not understanding that they are doing so with the present versions of THEMSELVES. Also the fact that Phase 2 against Elder Princess Shroob is the turning point if their race, or the Shroobs survive... or become extinct.

No need to say the final battle soundtrack is one of my favorite OST in the Mario franchise. I'm so grateful to you for making this remix. Bowsers inside story did not need a remake. Partners in time did. There were many things you could fix. The tutorials, some of the insane boss hp, a traditional bp system, saving at anytime, they could add some more content, the odd glitches could be fixed up, the troll toad with the super boss in holi joli (please add that super boss in the game) some of the annoying sections.

Simple. Bowser's Inside Story sold better. Since AlphaDream was going Bankrupt at the time, they needed money as soon as possible. Sadly they couldn't get the money they needed and got shut down.
