I think a lot of people will eventually be "let down" when they realize we had the answer to TMMS a while ago, and just didn't want to listen to it. (Billy Knight confirming Alvin Dean made it.) Kinda the Edde Edman effect. Once the community makes an artist angry, suddenly the community doesn't want to believe/listen to anything they have to say. They're just the angry musician now. Even when the musician is the one who's right, or actually is the original artist of the track being discussed. Happened with Edde and Feels Like A Wish. Happened with Billy Knight in relation to Alvin and TMMS. As soon as he felt people were disrespecting him and he got angry, everyone wrote him off. These people don't owe us anything. But Billy Knight gave us the answer. "Alvin made it."

It’s funny how the most famous Lostwave song is one that’s still unsolved and proving the most difficult to find. But if “Everyone Knows That” has already been found and has led to multiple discoveries in quick succession, I have hope the authors of “Like The Wind” will be found in due time. I got into Lostwave just a couple of months ago because of a video on “Like The Wind” and I’ve just fell into a rabbit hole with it…there’s something so fascinating about music whose origins are lost to time in an age where we have access to so much information ready at our fingertips.

As far as I'm aware the polish lostwave group actually contacted the radio station but they need to buy 3 licenses (?) to legally get access to the full song. One of them is 1000 zł which is obviously expensive for such a small independent group of people. The song is technically found (the exact length, the singer, the songwriter, the album where it comes from, which is partially lost btw) but we don't have the public version available right now. The radio station promised to play the full song a few months ago but they changed their minds

something i find so shocking about TMMS not being identified yet is that way crazier finds got identified before this one ever did. something that comes to mind is 'Ready N' Steady' by D.A, which people weren't even sure existed because even though it always topped the charts when it was released, nobody had actually heard it, nobody could find it and it was coined a phantom record and lost for over 30 years, and yet that still eventually got found back in 2016. we have the entirety of TMMS, which is theorised to have come out in the decade right after Ready N' Steady, and yet a song that literally nobody had heard ever in three whole decades got found before this one did. not to mention how we've already found so many songs that literally only had 2-3 seconds of it available online. that is absolutely unbelievable to me.

I have one of the most insanest theories out there. This song is performed with german accent, right? And do you know which accent is indistinguishable from german accent? Russian accent. At this point in time so many people revealed their transcripted lyrics and even I myself tried doing so at some point, just from listening it over and over again. And I'm very very very sure it's English and 99.9% of all those transcripted lyrics are very close to each other with mostly 2 or 3 lines varying due to them being harder to understand. It would be very weird if so many people from all around the world came the almost identical lyrics just for it to not even be in English in the first place.
