Great to see not only the dresses people made in Canada but the peoples names attached, lovely touch. It must have been a lot of time & work to put the video together, thank you for sharing. I’m based in the uk & only managed to make three - more hopefully next year. Well done.👏👏👏

Thanks❤️ three is nothing to sneeze at, three more than they had before. Well done. Every dress counts I guess that is why I put peoples names to their dresses. And yes it was an editing nightmare 🤣 but so worth it❤️

So many beautiful dresses to bring smiles to girls faces. I am thrilled with the success of this year's event. There is an Atlantic Fabrics in Dartmouth and ask for Holly. They collected a lot of dresses this year.😉

@PracticalStitches I'll definitely ask fo rher was debating either Dartmouth or Truro.

@@bronwynmorrison Dartmouth is there flag store. If you are in Truro you could meet up with me. I work only a couple of blocks away from Atlantic Fabrics. 😉

@PracticalStitches Meeting up would be fun I would be there the morning of 18th. We could meet before your work or a break time whichever works for you. Either coffee or fabric shopping works for me.
@PracticalStitches Жыл бұрын
@@bronwynmorrison that would be great but I go to work early and my breaks are short. I don't get off till 330. If you were still in town after 330 I could meet you for sure. If you want my # send me an email and you can text me. I hope you enjoy your vacation there is so much to see and do. The trees still have some leaves left for autumnal color.

I missed the deadline so I’m going to offer the dresses I made to the local Ukrainian church. They are helping refugees from Ukraine get resettled here in Canada.

@@PracticalStitches I dropped them off this afternoon with some new linens and some cash. These folks have to live here for 18 months before they get government assistance for their children. I spoke with the pastor and he said groceries are needed.Parents are working but housing is so expensive it doesn’t allow for much else.

@@annewhitney8809 I would say it was needed, every little bit helps. That is so lovely what you did🥰
