Definitely more anxious than excited for tomorrow. I feel like it’s been awhile since we didn’t know what to “expect”. No DLC’s or whatnot for the main games that we know will fill time. If we get chibi black and white, I’m just not buying it. Would die for a new legends style game. Also think they could milk the port scene with early gens and colosseum ganes

Yes, I can only agree. If you look at ILCA's story, it was actually impressive how much they tried to get out of the Gen4 remakes even though Junichi Masuda has a nostalgia fetish and didn't want the game to deviate even a millimeter from the original. For me, GameFreak is one of the most, if not the most, problematic game developers in the industry for the reason that they are untouchable.

@cankurt1696 well apparently they finally upset TPC so hopefully TPC will start actually caring about the games like they claim and give GameFreak more help to make their games better. Though I think now that Masuda is fully gone things might get better I mean he was the guy who thought we'd be happy not having the Battle Frontier in ORAS

Right?! I am so fed up of seeing the hate BDSP gets when considering the brief they got from GameFreak they did a good job. I guess my main frustration is that many people don’t realise that ILCA’s hands were more or less tied in terms of doing the remake. Although I wish GF let ILCA cook with BDSP, I wasn’t necessarily disappointed with it and I loved playing through it again. I also find it funny because it was pretty clear when BDSP was announced that it was a faithful remake and it’s one of the best selling Pokémon game so I don’t know why so many fans are pressed as they clearly still bought it 😭

I’m a huge gen 2 fan but regardless what gen I think any new game should be a brand new story or sequel to HG/SS BW2 with SV graphics . Not another remake of either gen. We shall see very very soon

ugh, I know it's not gonna happen, but imagine how GOOD an ORAS-style gen 5 remake would be. Gamefreak is definitely gonna go the chibi route because it's cheaper but ORAS was just peak pokemon in my opinion. I'll be back here if I'm proven wrong tomorrow. edit: what

Unova has a big tourist city and based on the SV DLC, we can assume that they have also researched all the other evolutions/pokemon alterations from the other regions as well could be something new entirely based out of Unova (The DLC also left on a cliffhanger)

man i feel bad for Ilca, if you see the artbook it seemed like they actually wanted to do a lot more than what ended up happening, i Just have a feeling Poke Co, had a lot more impact on that game than we think. I mean heck they made that one piece game that actually looks great, plays fun, and is more engaging than most of the switch pokemon games have been

Yeap. They did. But Gamefreak wanted faithful DP remakes and Ilca getting all the slack for it. Aside from it not being platinum tho it was solid game. Better then the originals. Just not platinum

I'm so sick of them remaking the inferior versions of the original games instead of the "reduxed" versions. Imagine if we would have gotten an Emerald remake instead of OR/AS, or a Platinum remake instead BD/SP. Instead they remake the original 2 versions so they can rake in the profits from people buying both releases again. Disappointing to be honest.

There's two patterns based on the switch's release schedule. Main game, remake of next gen. Or its a game by game basis. By generation we are due for black and white, and from game to game we're due for a crystal remake.

Me: I haven't played Pokemon Master EX for a while. Though we did beat the whole game despite not getting all the characters & Bouns My Pikachu: but it was worth it since we beat both Stroy mode & The villain arcs post game/Finale My Piplup: And honestly that game didnt had that much of everything anyways but we would recommend it to you guys if you like Me: Though you know what... I'm never leaving the Pokémon world or anything about Pokémon in general. I have a bit of a theory. It's a bit of a stretch but hear me out. So in scarlet and violet they came out with paradox Johto Beast trio and paradox Unova Justice trio. So what if they make a legends johto game and a future unova game, Just a theory but it'd be cool.

I am really hoping for either a remake of or a sequel to Pokemon Conquest, love that game, wasn't perfect but it was still amazing. Came out during Gen 5 so now might be a great time to bring it back, brush off the dust, possibly pair up with Koei Tecmo again for it or some other company to use their own characters instead of the Samurai Warriors ones used on Conquest.

would love to get gen 5 remakes as there are some of those pokemon that still arent playable in the current system of games... also would love to see them either drop gen 1 to 3 in the nso or hell i would even repay to get them as stand alone titles on the switch with the 3ds updates and online trades... that would make it so much easier to do transfers and even get the n64 stadium games with the abilities to use your trained pokemon vs the rentals

Hear me out: Black and White remakes are actually Pokemon Greyscale & Pokemon Greyhound, featuring the Unova region but with different legendaries being a threat to the original two box legendaries (Greyscale features a dragon and Greyhound features a wolf/dog-like creature). New story, returning characters, new regional forms and the return of a beloved mechanic…

BW3, I love ghetsis as a villian. He hits different then the rest. I really want a legends johto game. Well kanto, johto, and kitakami maybe? I'm not sure but kanto/johto are small compared to sinnoh if you look at their real life counterparts on a map. Plus in that setting, you have apricot balls which I believe predated pokeballs. A legends game about the original dragon can't really work because I'm pretty sure its before pokeballs and people made friends with them kinda like the diamond and pearl clans. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

I get it that shinys are too easy nowadays but it took me way too long to just get a single shiny in black 2. I really just want a new legends game. The most fun I've ever had in a pkmn game was shiny hunting alpha pokemon. I have 63 of them 🔥
