Three things I loved about this video: 1) 32:40 “we got to go to the courthouse cause I want to call you wife” ❤ I’ve followed Courtney for years and have always been a huge fan of hers. I’ve enjoyed seeing the two of you grow closer together through the years. You can tell you have both put in the work to build a strong relationship built on love and respect. 2) 35:38 “you get to make that reason” 😮‍💨 Nick needed to hear that from a peer in the profession who has walked the path of overcoming injuries. So simple, yet so meaningful. 3) 40:55 “I don’t really understand it until I see it and hear it cause I’m just living my life and trying to get through my own life. And seeing that it helps people means a lot to me.” I love the sentiment that you can be exactly who you are - you don’t have to change or pretend to be anything other than who you are to have an impact. A big message to Chris-I watched you through out this prep and you remind me alot of myself at 41 after being through all the drama younger guys crave. I am in that zone where I am at total peace, do not feel the need for any negativity in my life and sometimes you have that moment where you feel you need some of that drama to spice up your life, where i am going with this is, always appreciate peace because real drama is hell on earth. I can see you peaceful and peaceful folks sometimes drown into depression, always appreciate peace, try to appreciate it. If you find yourself needing more in life, find more positive things to do.

I used to be a drug addict, Chris. Tried to quit for many years. I got extremely depressed every time I tried and therefore I failed. One of the reasons why I got depressed is because I removed my main dopamine source (the drugs) but didnt replace it with another dopamine source. But this time I tried something else. I went travelling for a week for detoxing and getting back to what I did 15 years ago before my drug abuse: working out in the gym 4-5 times a week. I've been clean for 3 months now which I've done before, but this time is different caus I truly don't miss the drugs caus I replaced my addiction with something far better: working out. I go on youtube every day to see if you uploaded something new and you are very inspirational both on and off the court. You seem like a really really great person and so does your partner. And btw, I've never subscribed to anyone on KZbin so congratz: you are the first one and probably the last one I will! Good luck tonight!! I wish I could watch it live.

11:30 it’s interesting how the weight limit changed this year. Last year for 6’1”-6’2”, the limit was 240lbs. Now it’s 242 lbs. Chris really came in close at 241 though 😂
