What’s crazy is that halfway thru this season the recommendations for Mundo’s build path didn’t even include warmogs which was very weird. Especially since warmogs was still broken and out performing other items

Right? I picked Mundo up for the first time because of Alois and kept rushing Warmogs and winning more often than I usually do on any other champ--but I'd get flame from my team for rushing it which is wild since I'd almost always scale and be the biggest threat with how busted it is lol

Mundo is actually a 50/50 split on his damage. His physical damage always always ends up on par with his magic damage, all thanks to his Q having current % hp damage

I permanently played mundo over the last 2 months and at the last hour of this season and finally I understand that grasp gives you Bonus health. Now I just need to understand how this grasp proc works.

It takes 4 seconds in combat to get the proc, however it runs out in 3 seconds. So hit a minion, wait a couple seconds, hit another minion and then you'll have it (hitting a minion counts as being in combat)

Having still played it on the PBE, I still rush Warmogs as it's still relatively easy to get because of the new passive on it.

With dshield warmogs you have 1221 bonus hp, and 779 extra hp needed to start the passive. Generously at 1 item overgrowth shouldn’t be much higher then 150, and 25 grasp procs (extreme high roll) is only 175 extra. That leaves 454 hp at absolute high roll, meaning you need 3 ruby crystals on top of all of that. More likely scenario is it won’t come online until giants belt plus ruby crystal, or when behind on grasp stacks, 2 giant belts. ATP just buy heartsteel and start stacking lol.

I dont know what are you talking about, i rarely was buying warmog first item it always comes second or third heartsteel>titanic>warmog or warmog second if hard poke that was my fun build and still it is, fast push decent damage and big survivability, so this does change nothing to my mundo, heartsteel is a bit weaker i guess but not much of a deal cuz in mundo its all about being able to stick to their carries, if they play mobile carries with tanky suport you never be able to kill, mundo just buying time for your team, amount of shields slows heals etc. in late mundo never gonna break through 1000 hp shield karma or some shit, for me mundo is just annoying splitpusher with big health pool i usually dont join teamfights i can push two towers with two minionwaves instead and get lot of gold and snowball very fast cuz no enemy can break through that much hp if mundo is far ahead thats my op

From what I understood the aditional health passive os going from 1500 to 2000 Last match I rushed warmoggs as usual and I managed to reach the threshold almost entirely without many health items Wouldnt that just change priority to heartsteel rather than warmogg?
