One theory suggests that Tom and jerry are actually best friends, but tom has to pretend to hate and chase jerry so he wot get replace with another cat that might actually harm them. @@RetroKane But it doesn't make really any sense as a joke. So I was expecting, just like the guy that leaved the comment I suppose was, that mallet was maybe also a name for something else. For example my mind immediatly went to "wait is this a piglet/murderer situation where there are some obscure animal terminologies? Like maybe mallet is a legittimate way to say mouse infant? Like a little joke about the kid/cousin/whatever he sometimes has in some episodes that also could be mistaken as a hammer because of how the terminology is worded?". But apparently no. Is just an hammer joke. So yeah, good for them for remembering but is kind of lame as a joke.

@@GRtogetaBIC oh the entire bit is lame lol. I'm just surprised at how many people aren't familiar with looney tunes style references. Hell, even Eustace from Courage the Cowardly Dog is always saying "where's me mallet!" It's funny when it's used in slapstick, but this video... eh.. lol
