It's not that absurd when you are not nuzlocking as you can get very far with baiting certain moves (e.g.: Gyarados baits thunder bolts, switch to flygon to resist them whilst baiting ice beams, then switch to a bulky water pokemon). Volt absorb Lanturn, Wailord and Ludicolo are all really good here. The kingdra is a big nuisance and should be taken out first as it's dragon type attacks are difficult to predict and do a lot of damage over time. But yeah, that type of strategy is really risky to try and pull off in a nuzlocke. I've done the battle a lot of times without explosion and I'd lose several good mons if I were nuzlocking. As it is the last truly difficult double battle in the run it makes a lot more sense to use your remaining explosion mons here.

Nah, there are plenty of easy fights as well. (Mostly due to how the level cap works and them having only slightly higher levels after an arena)

The thing is that you have to prepare for each and every fight in the game, but at the same time, many times the normal trainers are just "do this and you will always win" with a few exceptions

Short answer: no. Longer answer: when pc started running the game there were no documents to help, and no strategies. Also with a successful run taking 2/3 months, throwing away a run early because it has no chance happens a lot. Even with all those resources, Wolfe couldn't have gotten this far without his own skills and planning

Wolfey is there a way to figure out how many of a specific vitamin I need to put to reach a desired ev. For example I have a decidueye that needs 248 hp evs but I don't know exactly how many hp up that is. I tried dividing by 10 and it gave me 31 but I'm not sure. Thanks for the help

If you try returning to capture Rayquaza after the cut scene in Sootopolis, a new puzzle appears on that floor, and Dusclops stands in the way, so you can't capture Rayquaza before beating the E4

As I understand it, EK doesn't have EVs, so from the stat total and current level you can figure out the IVs directly.

Plug it into a calculator online. Pokemon stats are not random; calculating them is simply plugging the pokemon's base stats, level, EVs, IVs, and nature into a predetermined formula. In this case, the calculator worked backwards to find the IVs.

There are no EVs in Emerald Kaizo. As for the IVs, the formula for converting a Pokemon's base stats, level, nature, and IVs into the final stats displayed in the game is known. This means that there are websites that allow you to input the first three plus the final stats, and work backwards using the formula to get the Pokemon's IVs. Sometimes, a range of IVs can give back the same final stat, so that's why Wolfey mentions leveling up the Dusclops to get a better idea of the IVs, as this makes it less likely for different IVs to result in a different final stat.
