49:00 this isn’t actually why toed moves before p2 Trick room has like -7 priority or smth, and mycelium might works like lagging tail, so spore is still +0 priority, and -7 moves will always move after +0 moves

49:50 so simple put: the speed stat does update dynamically mid turn but priorities do not and are instead set at the turn start.

I think the Mycelium Might speed update thing is that we have speed updates midturn, but Mycelium Might(and Lagging Tail) are not that, they put the user directly in the last spot on their priority bracket, so it probably only checks and applies at the start of the turn, like Quash that is a one and done thing and doesn't recheck afterwards to make sure you keep in the last spot of the bracket. But thats pure guessing
