Cheers RF much appreciated 🙏 yeah, the video had to change slightly as I accidentally deleted 2 scenes... But even though the video changed from how I imagined it to be. I am still happy with the outcome and the way it looks. We are glad you enjoyed the final part 👍👍& thank you for your comment 👌

Great set of videos, brought back memories of my gran who lived there and had her funeral there, I also used to deliver fruit and Veg to the kitchens. Sad to see it go. Yes to a montage of all the previous episodes.

Have you guys ever checked out the old abandoned underground air raid shelter complex on the abridge road on the left by the cottages between the passingford bridge roundabout,and Abridge village?

Yep, although insta doesnt get much traffic so am thinking about ditching that one.... But aside from social media ...I also do reports on 28dl ...but only the better ones that we do 👍👍

Th k you for this sad finale , this shouldn’t have happened . You took us through a great journey of history in our town . It wouldn’t have meant nothing to the developers , but to save the chapel which is sacred would have meant so much to Southend . But what goes around comes around . I read that there’s many ghosts on that land x

You are most welcome 👍👍 yeah the Chapel should defo have been saved even if everything else 'had to go' 🤔 Its rumoured there is / was the ghost of a young boy that lost his life falling...it was in one of the rear stair cases - I dunno if anyone else has heard that story ?...?? :.We are glad you enjoyed this video 🤍🤍🤍 there 'IS' a previous 4 episodes - be sure to check those out !! Hi Colin, apparently its going to be assisted living / housing and consist of blocks of 2 and 3 bed flats..... I think 🤔 there's not much heritage left down this neck of the woods. Very sad to see Nazareth House go. Back in the 70’s I walked past it every Saturday. Saturday job at Cowens Electrical shop.

Its been an emotional roller-coaster with this explore, we are gutted the Chapel wasn't saved and destroyed - that pulled a heart string. Ah very interesting, ill look into that some more 👍👍 thanks for watching and your comment 🙏

Hi guys, cheers, yeah - I felt like the explore needed an ending, am gutted I had to leave out 2 scenes, but am pleased I could still make it work. Hi John, thanks for watching 👌🍻 yeah, sure is - we really hoped the buildings and chapel would have been saved... Sadly nothing could be done and its just another blow to the chin we HAVE TO accept. The Chapel was structurally sound as were the roofs the Chapel could defo of been repurposed by someone with a positive vision or idea. Shocking !! The site survived a World War and the Cold War ...but in 2024 ...BAM! Its SOLD and Dem'd 😥😥🤢 .. I feel emotional- I lived there as a child. I was planning on going there this week. I will still go there to let it go. I loved there for over 10 years. I know some of the people in the cemetery- did they raze that too?

The Cemetery remains everything else is gone ..its such a shame its gone. This has always felt like a special explore to us, I hope you find the peace you are looking for 🙏Alternatively watch part 1 to 4 that are longer videos and show way more of the buildings etc.. both pre and post demolition 👍👍

Very sad . I walked past it a lot when it was empty and when it was demolished. I wonder if they’ll keep the brick wall that goes along the London road as that’s a nice wall . It’s a terrible shame they couldn’t have just kept it all. I heard that it couldn’t be modernised , but I suppose that was just an excuse

@emward6858 The wall is still there at the moment as is the gate house / small house by the entrance.. I can't believe the alter from the chapel has gone that must have been worth loads. Structurally, it seemed fine. Only a small section had decayed upon our visit. I haven't seen the official report, but money speaks volumes. Thanks for watching 👍👍
