The Amazon stuff while interesting wasn't that unique of a concept considering how common those kinds of videos are on youtube. The creatures also had alot of iconic run-on series like The treehouse series, The creature trips, movie nights/reviews, Creature talk, 24 hour Livestreams etc their content was just more varied and done better imo. The creatures final days was easily some of their worst though.

I just want to thank cowchop for being there with me through high school, into my first job, moving away from everything I've known to start over, and finally being around for when I got a girlfriend. Before I came to reminisce with this dear, dead friend I had told myself I was ready to watch their last goodbye again... I was not ready. I don't think I'll ever have been ready. From following James in his Happy Wheels era to The Creatures throwing salads all the way to watching Cow Chop in its death throes and everything in between with zeal. An entire decade of my life was spent getting to know these people and while they may not be gone, I can't help but bear in mind that it just will never be the same again. To many great and loved memories. To bonds never truly broken.

I remember a young version of myself stumbling across the Minecraft Treehouse series on James' channel, following the creatures through various co-op games, like Dead Island. The original Creature House was such a heartwarming thing for my then lonely self. Every time I see any relic of a video in my recommended, I have to watch it, and it's always bittersweet. Would do you mean it didn’t work? This channel has thrived for years, made millions laugh, and despite everyone leaving in the end it wasn’t always in a bad way. I don’t think it failed at all, every video managed to put a smile on our faces even on the worst days and I think that means something! Aleks did an amazing job keeping Cow Chop alive and continuing despite everyone else leaving when things got rough, I respect him so much for that

Been here since I was in middle school when I first started watching James play with spoon in Minecraft, then I found Sly and watched as the creatures were formed even in the beginning with Junk and Chilled, saw the creation of the creature house, saw every move with the creatures, saw the creation of CowChop, saw every era of CowChop with the house, the barn, the warehouse...This is legitimately the end of an era for me since I’ve basically been watching since around 2011...To think I’ve watched from middle school up to now where I’m in my junior year of college...Thank you for the journey CowChop...It has been a great one 😢😊

Slick Beats I think it was genuinely for the best. If James made you leave then that’s that, you shouldn’t stay for something you just don’t find entertaining anymore. And to be a hundred percent honest after James left it truly seemed to just die out big time for me and everyone else. I only liked Brett and aleks, everyone else was just there and I never felt a connection/entertainment from them. I still loved the channel and supported them and James and I’m truly heart broken that this is it for them but no one can force entertainment on anyone and make them enjoy it.
