As a Giants fan, I’ll forever cherish the Even Year Giants! Those years were so special to me. They weren’t an expensive super team or a team winning 111 games every season, just a bunch of heroes that refused to lose. Seeing the 2014 celebration always makes me tear up, both Mad Bum and Posey hugging it out while Bochy smiling in the dugout. Thank you Bochy for those years and I’m happy you won another with the Rangers! Congrats Texas.

@@xxxYYZxxxI'm biased as a Rangers fan but in my opinion, nothing comes remotely close. I forget the exact number but something like 24 pitches were thrown that each could have been the last out for the Rangers to win it. To go from being a strike away from your first world series win in TWO SEPARATE INNINGS to losing in that game and the next was indescribably heartbreaking. 2010 was disappointing but ultimately a great ride and an encouraging start to what we hoped would be a great contention window. 2011 was a fucking dagger. Because they are a distant second place within their own market. A market that's losing population and to be honest should only have 1 baseball team now. Philadelphia Boston and St Louis all had 2 teams once too. Nobody really watched that world series ether judging by it's TV ratings
@giftedguy3442
@giftedguy3442 5 ай бұрын
I see the common setreotypical judgement that chicago is a bad city and can't support 2 sports teams if the white sox left Chicago they would become one if not the biggest market to not have a sports team, Chicago might be losing population but the ratio of fans who are committed to the sport on the south side is very large. The real problem is yes the cubs but also the white sox lack of success and bad ownership driving down attendance and viewership, the money is there and unlike Cubs fans they don't show up to games to pay a corrupt owner and a failing team. They fit as a blue collar team on the south side and if they move anywhere else it signifgantly ruduces money inflow. The white sox are in the middle of the pack when it comes to most valuable teams sitting at about average and much above any other sports team that has moved away in the past to my knowledge. I cannot understand the TV rating you made as maybe not for your standard because it was a very average viewship for its time and the situation they were in and it succeeded the next ws ratings. The comment that you made was disrespectful to us sox fans and not at all true despite stereotypes in the past. It's ok if you don't know about a team but please don't claim the team should move away.
