Awesome video! I visited his grave about 12 years ago. Theres some Earps buried in and around there too, (kin to Wyatt Earp) My ex inlaws (gone now) were born and raised in that area and attended Bill's funeral, they said Ricky Skaggs was there, and lots of other great musicians. Somewhere around there they use to have barn dances and bluegrass can't remember if it was Rosine, Hartford, or Fordsville....I hope traditional bluegrass remains true to its roots and doesn't become modernized like the new age country.

My Father played music with James Monroe. Which is Bill Monroes son. Bill Monroe made sure he played the banjo a certain way before allowing him to tour with his son James.

The museum wasn't there when I was last there but I saw the grave site in Rosine. I did see the house which was the original museum.

I wish either the museum or house had been open for us to see when we were there. Maybe I will be back in the area again and get to see it. Thanks for watching my video.
