I have a Honda SuperCub 125 in Japan! Great bike! Very lightweight and can fit-in with bicycles when parking. Easy to walk with it. And it will fly around town passing taxis and such at the same time. Very practical. I am referring to your comments with your daughter in Taiwan. She photoed a Cub that you spoke of.

Decades ago, I trained with some firefighters here in Northumberland and all I can say is that whatever they get paid, it isn't enough. I took my AJS out yesterday morning, thinking I could have a nice little ramble around the country roads but I was being buffeted so much by the wind that I cut it short. This took me down a narrow, quiet lane past some stables that I don't think I've been along for at least 50 years. It's an ill wind, as they say.

Happy New Year, Taym. For CFA (Country Fire Authority) personnel, fires are a fact of life in Victoria - and elsewhere - at this time of year. Been there, done that as Apparatus Officer for a Dandenong Ranges brigade, back in the late '70's-early 80's, including Ash Wednesday. Neil W will know about that one.

Not been out much, only had 2 days off for Christmas but did manage to get out Boxing Day but sadly the ride was cut short because my Son's Harley decided it needed a rest again and had to be recovered by the AA. KZbin channels. Check out Nick Adams. He’s a neighbour and uk ex pat. His adventures are infamous. He’s in his early 70’s and rides more than anyone I know. And his bikes are all vintage daily riders. But where he goes would make your hair stand up. Where GS bikes fear to go, he rides his ‘72 Moto Guzzi El Dorado. You must check him out.
