The final chapter of a great book. Thanks for all the sound advice, top tips and general boaty banter. Looking forward to chapter 1 of the sequel!

Time for new adventures Justin, a little sad but as a bilge keel owner myself, there are many more places you will reach with the new lady 🏴☠️⛵

Beautiful boat. She and the videos you made with her do you both a great deal of credit. Looking forward to the next chapter.

You are such a decent chap, and have maintained and developed a beautiful boat that will, I imagine now, out last us both! Many thanks for making it all so easy. We may be less intrepid than you, but We are really looking forwards to our own adventures.

It's not an easy thing to sell a boat. Especially when it's given you such good memories. But life changes and we adapt to change with it. You'll have just a much fun in the new boat and I can't wait to see what you've bought. I'm thinking it could be a westerly fulmar.

I spotted that Roquetta was not in her usual place in the yard on Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing your new ride and meeting up for a beer in the summer.

All the best I’ve enjoyed the Twister DIY tutorials over the past few years….most of which I’ve copied without fear of originality 🤦♂️

Love the videos Justin always just followed in the background. I envy your lifestyle you have the life i have always dreamed of, but i suppose the rat race keeps us all firmly ashore, like it is designed to do. One day maybe in the not too distant future, but time is running out 52 years old but dreams are fading but still there. Kids are grown but have a wife who hates the sea, Looking forward to seeing the new boat, hope it fulfills the same dreams.

Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to comment. I lived aboard throughout my 20s but then had a break (for 20 years 😂😂). I started again at 48. It's never too late mate 👍

A sad moment indeed. Is the new owner keeping her locally?

I don't have kids, and I imagine that it is always a difficult situation, who do you buy a boat for...you, or the family? You have chosen family first, can't blame you for that. I wish you well with the new boat Justin...as long as it's not one of those ugly Condo Cats,...ha ha :-)

In truth, it's not just for my daughter, living aboard made me just want more room. And being just over 6 feet tall in shoes made a 28 foot traditional sailboat very hard on my scalp 🤣🤣
