MeKenna Boknevitz Crazy stuff. Here in Germany we’ve been getting less and less snow and much later in the season in recent years thanks to stupid climate change. It means we have super long fall seasons and snow only in January but recently until March. But only sporadically. I melts and goes gross several times during that period. We haven’t had snow on Christmas since my teen years (10 yrs ago approx). Which is the real sad part because to me winter weather and Christmas belong together. What we have instead is the shittiest British weather. No Indian Summer for us. It’s been moderately cold meaning it’s all rain and rain and rain. Muds and wind. It’s disgusting. Hence most people here have no patience for fall lovers. Pumpkin spice what? Nope. No scarves. Just rainboots and umbrellas and no sun. All day. For 2 months now.

I automatically assumed James would use the baby born in THIS LP, and I didn't actually like the idea, since I didn't get an opportunity to feel anything for it. But "Seasons" was my favorite of all James's TS4 LPs, so I think this idea is great!

I think there is a Realm of Magic glitch with holiday entities. My gnomes got stuck on my lot from Harvestfest and just left hundreds of seed packets lying around through the entire year.

This is a gnome glitch/secret that came with Seasons, I don't have the Relm of Magic and I make a "Seed Gnome" for every household. I have a holiday, "Gnome day", for the gnomes to come. Then make one happy with a halo, then place it in the household inventory until after the holiday. Then take out the happy halo gnome and place it is a spacious area. I made one just yesterday.

That happens if you leave the lot when the gnome is active .. if you complete the holiday on the lot the gnomes stop giving seed packets as usual.

The fractal thing is interesting. I had a glitch where one of my gnomes kept giving me seed packets even after the holiday was over. I put him in the backyard and the packets eventually made all these fractal swirls as they mounted up.

I have a seed gnome too! I've been able to successful in reproducing the glitch in other save games. I now have a holiday, Gnome day so gnomes come and I try and make one happy. Then into the household inventory until after the holidy. Then take out and place in spacious area. I sell the packets daily, and send some along with kids that age and move out.

I saw this video on the day it came out - close to one year ago now, actually! - soon after I started watching James' videos and, as I rewatched it just now, I remembered the moment I decided to go back and watch the full Bigwallet series, riiiiight from the start: when James showed the family tree and I had no idea what the hell was going on but I just knew it would be a crazy ride. So here we are, hundreds of videos later (thanks to a certain pandemic for all the extra time), with countless laughs and pure random Sims moments to remember. Thanks for keeping me company all these months, James :) Your videos are what I turn to when I feel overwhelmed, it honestly feels like you're a friend who is there for me at the toughest times. I'm very grateful. (Can't wait to start the University series, but I also don't know what I'll do with myself once I'm all caught up. I guess I'll just have to stick around!)

The aging and family tree in this save are kinda messed up, 😂 . So Bob is Column's uncle as her mother Banana's half brother, but also Column's second cousin as her mother Banana's cousin? I'm totally down for a Bob Bigwallet Uni lp but just fully explaining how everyone is related is a video in and of itself. Ohhh! Maybe a keeping up with the Bigwallets special episode, aging everyone up (possibly makeovers? I love when James tries CAS), explaining their relationships, and setting up the family before Bob goes off to UNi?

Jazzie Huggins nope. So it goes Lady 2 (daughter of Sebastian from Seasons) had multiple children in the Get Famous Lp, but had Banana with Semaj. Banana from the Island living lp had 2 daughters, Column with an island elemental and Plantain with Keanu. Column then had a child with a Sage from the Magic realm.
