The game pack is literally lacking gameplay. It's repetitive and once you're done, you don't want to do it again because it's annoying. Though some of the spells are useful and fun, but there isn't anything interesting with the game pack itself. You finish the spell learning and that's it. There is no reward, at least not a good one.

Fredrick and Penny are in this save but died between Get Famous and Seasons. The Sims 4 family trees don’t go that far back but they are in this save. However, Little and Sir aren’t. The game became very glitchy so he changed into a new save.

The vendors in the magical realm have different items each day. That is why they don't have dragon fruit. The reason you got snow in the house is the room lines. The reason it's still winter is because like the tree, you haven't spent enough time on the lot. Also, you can have Plantane tend the garden when you aren't home. I have found that helps.

The only way to get rid of the curse(s), is to make the a potion of curse cleansing or to use the decursify spell (which can backfire). You can eventually get the hexproof perk to avoid them all together.

money trees absolute DO grow in small individual pots!! I have the Ward Family garden fULL of money trees in those pots! it does work, but NOTHING grows in the winter for me with seasons when you are in a cold place. You just gotta wait for spring.

"Thing that has bitey stuff" -- James, I know you probably don't remember it well, but you DID do a whole LP on Vampires. Heck, I think it's going to be LONGER than this Rags to Witches, given there were more aspirations to do. XD And man, our girl Column had kind of a rough time, didn't she? NEARLY aged up to adult (you were lucky you could get her to make the potion before it happened the second time around), NEARLY died due to overcharge (SUPER lucky she had that potion of prompt resurrection!), and bested in a duel with Morgyn. Wooof. But on the other hand, she did win a duel with a random NPC, she can now copypasto to her heart's content, she successfully burgliated a few objects, and she has TWO money trees waiting to grow, providing her with all the cash she could ever desire. So, yeah, she can't complain TOO much. XD Hopefully next episode will be a little smoother for her!

I am enjoying the irony of Column being cursed and having things go wrong whilst the clumsy "rubbish" sister is actually very competent. I suggest Plan Tayne (or however you spell her name) is the one to have kids, or at least be primary caregiver of Column's child. I think Column should end the series spectacularly in a column of smoke (pun intended) by dying of an overload - the "evil" sister dies as a result of her greed for riches and power and the "good" sister raises the heir.

Also, I am pretty certain the curse you have doesn't affect your chances of success with spells and potions. Who ever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. The curse you have affects socializing. The issue is you don't manage your charge. The higher it gets, the more likely you will fail at spells and potions. You need to keep it relatively low. You also need to get the perks that prevent failure entirely while your charge is low. Basically you just suck with magic right now and you are not managing your charge well which is making you more likely to fail. You would be doing better if you were training and practicing.

I'm pretty sure that you can use copypasto in any soil or terrain. I know I didn't need a plant to start with, just click on the ground and presto, magic plant. If I remember correctly and the info was correct the winter should not affect magic plants. I got all my magic and then moved to become a star. The magic works great for keeping the paparazzi and crazy fans off my land.

I normally remove the floor in the room I'm using for a greenhouse maybe the room having a floor and using a planter box is why the tree isn't growing? Just a thought.

tl;dr Be on the home lot at 5am to advance plants and put the money tree outside, regardless of weather. Keep some potions and hard-to-find ingredients to copy-pasto as needed. For the tree to grow, just make sure you are at home at 5am, that's when the game generates weeds, harvestables etc. (and why the science lab garden in GTW can only be harvested once and they never produce again because your shift starts at 10am... but that has nothing to do with this Let's Play) I haven't tested non-seasonal plants like the money tree, but seasonal plants grow faster outside in their season than they do sheltered. Once it's planted, the cold won't kill off plants, so your money tree could go outside (it *might* grow faster if it isn't sheltered since technically it's always in season). The reason you had issues planting in winter had nothing to do with the indoor temperature - the game doesn't let you plant anything when the weather is freezing (flashing blue in the weather info). I think the idea was you can't plant stuff in frozen solid ground, but the game counts all planters as soil so it assumes the planters are frozen solid too even if they are warm indoors. To avoid having to hunt down ingredients again and again, once you make a potion (assuming it's of ok quality) keep one vial of it to copy-pasto if needed - you need only make each potion once. Or if you like having her brew stuff, keep a copy of each ingredient to copy-pasto when needed. My witch has shelves in her cauldron room with every potion and every ingredient on them. But then she is a perfectionist who isn't cursed, so...

There's an option to always transportalate by clicking the active sim and selecting magic->spells->always transportalate :) Also, there's a mod that makes inferniate, chillio, and zipzap deadly! One version makes it only deadly when you're charge is high and the other version makes it deadly every time. It's by Zero on patreon and it's free!

tree's do grow in plant pots whoever said that doesnt know what they are talking about you can plant it in a bigger area then move it to the pot but it does grow the reason yours is not growing is because your not really ever on the lot and in less your on the active lot it wont grow

I like your evil witch. :) I grew my money tree in the small pot so it works in that. Maybe your tree doesn't grow because there is no light in the room? I used copypasto and I have 5 money trees that evolved once and now give me around 15-20k each a day. I made my starting money by using copypasto on the immortality potion that sells for 8k a pop on the yard sale table with 300% markup. And people bought it like crazy from my own back yard. I couldn't sell almost anything in the realm of magic though. Later I instead only used copypasto on the crafting mats so I got the exp from making the immortality potions and could get all the spellcasting perks.
