Did anyone else notice that when Gwendoline Christie's character is not angry, the camera is adjusted at a level that makes her height and other actors are at a distance to make her appear to be only a few inches taller than the other actors, like when she was on the bandstand near the mayor, the shots of them in the same frame are upper body only. But when she is angry or asserting herself, the camera is lower to the floor or ground and she is closer to the other actors emphasizing how much taller & larger she is than the others. In the scene where Weems gets angry with the Sheriff in the coffee shop, she looms over him. Being a shape-shifter, it makes sense she would "grow" larger than whomever she is arguing with.

A second season is promised and I can't wait. I loved this when I first saw it and I love it just as much now. It is the best thing Tim Burton has been associated with for years. Jenna Ortega is superb. The amount of complex emotion she is able to express with just her eyes is impressive.

So basically this entire problem MIGHT hav been avoided IF Tyler's dad had gone to Weems, explained his concerns about whether or not Tyler had inherited the Hyde gene from his mother, asked if she had any advise or knew anyone who could help him, i.e. recognising the symptoms, how to suppress it, what the best way to tell him without triggering him could be, etc. There must have been someone who knew something about it. And even if he'd just asked it would've been a lot better than just "ignore it and hope it goes away".
