the grenade doesnt really need an indicator, but it definitly needs to be both more visible and more audible, both of which it isnt. a light and a sound that gives you an idea when its about to go off would be the cleaner solution and it would reward situational awareness

If it had either a blinking light and/or a beeper as an indicator of where it is and when it'll go off, it's perfect. Nade spam is only as oppressive as it is right now because unless you watched the grenade being thrown, you cannot tell at all where it is

A few things I would like for the game are: 1) Saving outfits 2) Trying to change the plug meta a bit so teams don't leave their cashout to third party across the map for the other plug 3) Fixing the bugs with thermal so it actually works consistently (people being invisible when they're in front of you and other stuff like that) 4) Make the sights of guns that don't have sights by default match the skin you have equipped instead of being plain black 5) Making ranked matches only have players within a certain range of RS so skill levels of players would be roughly the same, even if it means longer queue times 6) A better anticheat, Asia is rampant with cheaters, and although embark is very proactive in banning cheaters, ideally reducing or removing the possibility of cheating would be best

All of these are pretty solid! But there may be an issue with 5. With the steam numbers being less than 10k Plats will still have those ruby/diamond lobbies sadly! But the argument can also be “there’s 10k people yall telling me there isn’t at least 16 people that’s playing that’s Plat?”

@HawaiianRolls808 yeah, I get what you're saying, and I agree. But with crossplay on, I think that it would be possible to get matches, even if the queue times are up to 10 min. Ranked queues already range between 2-5 minutes in asia (idk about other regions), at least experimenting with it would be nice.

Nice suggestions, I think number 1 has been acknowledged by the developers, and number 2. Number 5 is definitely a difficult one because I feel that they would do this if it was possible but there really isn't a lot of people playing per region in ranks, for example we know this could be possible with EU and NA, but then making it not consistent with say OCE (because of player count) would mean people would try to game the system by queuing in OCE to get easier lobbies to overtake the higher ranks. We are at a stalemate unfortunately.

IMPORTANT!!! The Main menu freezing is tied to your friends list. If you have a lot of friends then the freeze will happen every time you reload into the menu. The more freinds you have, the longer the freeze, i removed the people i didnt play with anymore and am down to only about 25 friends and the issue has completely disappeared, hopefully they do fix it though as i dont want to have a limted friends list.

New mode ideas: Rock, paper, scissors: 1v1. Best of 3. Pick each class once. Takes place in practice range sized sections of the maps made using the boundary from TA. Cash Grab / Coin Toss: Turn the practice arena wall where throw the cube thru holes in to a goal for a football game mode. * 2 teams, 2 Goal Walls, 1 cube. * Throw the cube into one of the holes on the other team's wall to score points. * 6v6 * Use smaller sections of the maps that exist, or, create a symmetrical rectangle map. Tag: * One person is “it” and they are a light while everybody else is trying to run away from them. * The players running away are medium until they get tagged, then they defib respawn in that spot as a light; * the person who was it bursts into coins and respawns across the map as a medium. * If someone goes a certain amount of time without getting tagged then they burst into coins and immediately respawn as a heavy. * No lethals in this mode. No stun gun. * Mediums have one loadout: Demat, jump pad, zip line, and goo grenade. * Heavies have one loadout: goo gun, antigravity cube, motion sensor, flashbang. * Lights can choose between cloak, hook, or dash, and thermal bore, sonar, vanish bomb, tracking dart, thermal vision, or gateway. * Points awarded for successful tags, deducted for being tagged, and for amount of time- within a certain range of the player who is it- that you go without being tagged, big bonus if you avoid being tagged the entire round. * This basic concept could be adjusted to create an infected mode. * Intermittent map wide ping that reveals all of the runners’ locations. 6v6 Cashout - Appeal to casuals: when you’re part of a larger team, you feel less pressure to perform well; it gives you more room to make mistakes, run off meta or unfamiliar loadouts, or even just goof around a bit. - Furthermore, because it’s 6V6, the casuals are still introduced to the chaos involved in normal cash out tournaments, even though they feel less pressure to carry. - Appeal to vets: some really interesting team compositions emerge in power shift and terminal attack, and those of us that have been playing the game for a while or who play the game a lot would be interested in seeing how these compositions changed the dynamic of attacking or defending cash outs. It also changes the Meta of the game mode. When you only have three people on your team, you can’t afford to have anyone choose an off meta loadout, but, when you have six people on your team, suddenly you have more wiggle room for flex picks or hyper specialized picks. - This game mode would also allow people, with more than two friends, to group up and play the quintessential game mode together. - Players stick with a game longer if they can build a friend group or a community within the game; that is incredibly hard to do when the main mode only allows you to team up in groups of three. Make Powershift 6v6. 2. Replace TA with 6v6 Capture the Flag, King of the hill, or some other fun game mode. Why 6v6? A. 3v3v3v3 tournaments prove that 6v6 lobbies are possible. B. Forming groups of 6 makes it so much easier to play those modes for a bit and then split up to go play WT or Ranked. Right now, when a group of five decides to switch modes, we have to try to find a third for the group of two or the group of two just has to find a rando because possible thirds are already in games or other groups. It creates tension and frustration. Why replace TA? A. Casual modes should provide players a way to gain xp and complete challenges, while also providing an alternative experience that either - marginally adjusts the core gameplay experience in such a way that - changes the tactical meta while still involving core gameplay mechanics (bank it), or - gives players a way to acclimate to the core game, and test new loadouts or tactics (quick cash) - Or provides a mechanistically different but tonally similar, fun experience for when players are burnt out on the core game modes (power shift). B. TA is incredibly dissimilar from the core game, it isn’t a casual mode- it is inherently competitive given the rounds and lack of respawns, and it isn’t team focused gameplay. It doesn’t feel like a different mode, it feels like a different game. We need a new casual mode that allows people to form bigger groups of people: especially now that clubs are a thing and making larger friend groups is easier. We need multiple ways to play with more of our friends in between when we have to pick just two of them. Melee only mode: tdm

Ooooo okay this is some really cool set of suggestions, it's a lot here so I'll add my points in bullets below :D - 6v6 PowerShift I could definitely get behind, I would assume that they took a look at the variations (3v3, 3v3v3, 5v5, 6v6) and probably thought that at the time 5v5 was the best, but now the overall playerbase has adapted to the mode, could shake it up? - I wouldn't replace TA if there's people that play it, everyone has a niche they love about this game, so if Embark see that there's enough players in that mode I would feel bad if people lost access to it. - 6v6 Cashout would be really interesting too, I actually ran 6v6 cashout in my viewer games on stream once and people found it very hectic, a good LTM choice! - Rock, Paper Scissors sounds like a really cool idea, you could even expand on it a little too so you can choose per round which gadget you want etc. - Tag & Cash Grab is again a really cool idea for an LTM, it's got a lot of uniqueness but reminds me of the Halo/COD days with those modes present in the game as well, I really like these ideas! :) It would be cool in the future if we could actually have something where we can make our own game modes, and the devs know that too :)

For the nade change, i think it is much healthier to keep nades as "suprise". That random boom when you dont pay attention is just a game awarnes/skill indicator. On the other hand, I am aware that sometimes in the midst of fights, due low fps etc. it can be hard to spot it. What they can do is (without removing the skill element), when a grenade enters your line if sight, you get a warning border on your screen, it wont show where it is, its just a warning. If someones nades your behind, and you dont see it, you wont get a notification.

Yeah I could see that being a thing too, as I said I'm not fully upset if there's no indicator but with the argument I made on the destruction and distractions, something could replace it as a fair alternative.

bring the fun back to the finals. Balance shouldnt solely focus on competitive play as this is such a wide open ended game, it will never be possible to consistently balance this game for any moderate period of time. Great video as always thiixy.

This is it, the betas and first season were so fun even though they weren't balanced I was just really enjoying myself which I just don't anymore, the weapons often just feel too weak and the amount of tools you have to hand to make great outplays is just a lot less than it was at launch.

Go for sword, learn it. Doesn't take much time. It's very much fun and rewarding. Or maybe go for other class melee weapons. Play world tour only or quick cash. Ranked is yes sweaty but WT is so sweet to have non meta load outs and still have fun

Immediately had goosebumps the moment S2 music was played. Took me back quite a bit. It wasn't that long ago but I started to enjoy Finals during that time and had soooo much fun with my friends. Experimenting with gadgets, trolling with 3 turrets in a room, flamethrower + goo combo, double explosive mines, and everyone were pretty new so we had similar skill levels. There were so few players, and you meet them so often that you start remembering their names.

i agree that the game's balance is in a really good spot right now, yeah there are some issues (frags being near impossible to spot, the famas being much stronger than other medium rifles, the m14 being really spammable, particularly up close, etc) but other than that embark has done a really good job with balancing each class and their kits

One thing I really know grinds my gears is in Quick Cash. When joining an in-progress match, you you get the option to change anything about your class for about 10 seconds before being spawned. During this time, you can only choose to change items that you currently have in your reserve. I often need to reset my character just so I can choose a weapon/gadget that isn't in my reserve. It's not that important but Quick Cash has a good portion of the player base so I feel like this change would be significant.

You’re exactly right about grenades. Players at the highest level wouldn’t be using them at the rate they are if they knew they weren’t cheese. This game is pure noise and visual pollution, not having an indicator is wild to me. And it’s not like it would be a long indication, frags go off in like 2 seconds

I think the main issue with ARs is that they are oppressive in applicability. They have good ADS, are forgiving, have good hipfire, have good close-mid-long range, and are essentially a jack of all trades that can hold up to “speciality” weapons. When you can use a FAMAS for the same viability at range, more forgiveness, more DPS, and way better close range, a speciality weapon like the Pike becomes useless. It becomes a niche, off meta weapon only for those who are very dedicated to a certain playstyle, and we see this play out consistently across all classes. Every class (except maybe light to some extent) have these weapons that are too good at being good “in general”, mainly full auto weapons, which make the meta stale and such. There’s another issue, full auto weapons are much more forgiving but have the same, or more, lethality than semi or single fire weapons, making semi or single fire weapons disadvantaged. The best example is something like the revolver. It used to have a higher TTK than most full autos by a lot, and had the idea of being rewarding for head taps, but in practice this didn’t work out due to the fact the reward wasn’t worthy the consistent viability and in general better stats of full auto weapons. It’s still the case, even though the revolver has very close TTKs to the ARs, it’s a very little picked weapon because it’s less forgiving than full auto weapons. Missing a bullet on the AK, or even multiple, is nothing, but a single bullet missed on the revolver is pretty much instant fight loss.

Yeah I really like this, I guess it's a mindset shift that I have to get used to, I think sometimes I forget that even though objectively the AK might not be as strong from range, I still get more bullets in other situations that would put me at an advantage. IDK I think it's just because this is the only game where rifles are not strong at range, and sort of act like an SMG to some degree. The game really resembles a big chunk of time tracking targets vs tap aim/flicks I feel with the LH1/Pike.

No offense @Thiixy but give me a break with any automatic needing a buff at this point. I don’t see anyone else talking about it which is shocking. But how can nobody notice that half the weapons in the game have no been made C tier or worse do to the visual recoil being removed and no balance changes to the AR’s. The famas SHOULD outrange an ak. Each weapon should excel in its own situation. We don’t need to go back to season 1 where ak’s rule all ranges and just roof camp. The uzi has no recoil, insane hipfire, instant reload, enough bullets to kill 2 heavies and a ttk that trumps most guns. Items that actually require effort that aren’t spray and pray ie throwknives, magnum, etc feel TERRIBLE and can only out ttk if you land all headshots which isn’t reasonable. The ar’s are braindead but ultimately net the best and most reliable ttk’s with the least amount of effort. Lets address ar’s having perfect aim while airborne while the revolver and deagles suffer from bloom in the air??? Shouldn’t it be the same for all? Lets address the LH1 damage output, mag size, reload time compared to the magnum. Lets address the only LONG range weapon suffering from bullet drop and essentially being made a meme gun. Make all the weapons have bullet drop? Ak, uzi, lewis gun, fcar, mp5, etc all have nearly zero recoil pattern, but in a realistic environment should require some iota of effort to control. Lets address the aim assist in the game for controller players eliminating recoil, allowing tracking through smoke, etc. please stop promoting the increased performance of items that are already easy to use. There are so many cool aspects of this game that allow players to play different but just can’t because everyone just wants the AR’s to prevail. Using the other weapons are SO much more fun, except its not fun to be dummied by someone who just wants to run the sweat, minimal effort metas in every game type. Lets address the light plague in quick play. Lets address the fact that quick play is sweatier then ranked. Giving new playerbase no reason to want to learn the game. Try something new. Do limited time modes that have melee only, or no ar’s, or limited loadouts like the easter event. STOP CATERING TO THE TOP 500 PLAYERS IN THE GAME. The vast majority of the player base suffers so that the top 500 can have it their way. Just because something is META in ranked doesn’t mean its relevant in average to below average lobbies I absolutely love this game and its new shake up to stale pvp shooters. I want this game to succeed. But player retention is important. And if its only set up for the top 500 and not the community then the game loses

MnK is so much better in this game it's not even close. If controller was in any way up to par or perhaps even better than mouse you would see it in the highest levels of competitive play.

Dat giant charm, LOL. Personal opinion, for the grenade, I think just a more louder sound when it hits the wall or ground is sufficient. I usually listen to my team's characters when they warn about grenades, but it's always too late when I realize what they said. If it's more visible, I have a feeling that it would be too easy to dodge. But what do I know, a lot of my deaths come from the grenades, lmao. I think the balancing could be better too. They have me either going against some ridiculously good teams, or ridiculously bad teams. I swear it's so uneven. Lastly, they seriously need to fix that random crashing problem...and add a "sorry" voice command already.

The finals is fast paced, but i really wish all classes had the same fast health regen. Seems like heavy you spend half the game hiding waiting to regen if you dont have a heal beam.

That's good, if people land their shots it forces you to back off and it helps with the pace of the game. If everyone regened quickly then it would become more of a clusterfuxk and be way too chaotic. Promote better positioning and taking more advantagous fights, not braindead rushing.

Hope they learn lessons from Marvel Rivals. People prefer balance for fun not for top 500 balance. So much of the power has been removed from the players since launch landing itself similar to overwatch. Where only the best enjoy the game, average players dont exist, and the barrier to entry is to high for newcomers. Overpowered Nukes, abilities and weapons were the best seasons of this game. Game went from Mario Party vibes to Esports.

The problem with weapons is that the current meta weapon get's nerfed because the other weapons that were meta got obliterated and made useless, take a look at the Pike, no one uses the Pike nowadays. Instead of rebalancing the least used/picked weapons to be sueful, the playerbase prefers the only useful weapon to be nerfed, it was model before, now its FAMAs, if the FAMAS get's nerfed, next will be a weapon to recieve the OP status will be the one that is still useful.

- There is a bug make u unable to run every time u rez sometimes u trying everything to run and u can't not crouching or emote helps u - Another bug when i use Spear when pressing the right button I can not use the left button of the mouse except after 3 sec then i can use the left one - the bug when i press tab i can't see anything cuz it's glitched -sometime all my team names be playername - sometimes the left click don't work except if i k!lled my self - the respwon sometimes be close from the cash and sometimes be to far and sometimes be near the enemy team - glitch making the platform without borders making u falling under the map - sometimes throwing the box on the cash and it's not insert 😭 - the suspended mode in the finals round make cry if they took the high ground gg no time to steal - all med weapons useless now even the heavy pls make the hummer like before u update it cuz it's useless against light with the new range - the biggest bug is the audio pppppppllz fix it - the freezing every time i go to the main menu - the lag in the servers so bad

@ What i’ve realised is that having your cpu at 💯 utilisation isnt bad but if you want to use another application it will cause instability if the finals was more gpu reliant I could play with more then 80fps 😭

i’ve encountered bugs but i’ve somehow only encountered them while by myself in quick cash. also only on light. the main 2 are that sometimes my invisibility cloak stays on after i die & it just doesn’t drain, idk if other people see me as invisible though. the most glaring issue though is that sometimes the sonar grenades permanently detect enemies. i threw some sonars one game that scanned everyone in the match & for the rest of that match i could see all of them no matter where they were

Embark, please use World Tour as a creative vehicle for all of your ideas, wacky gamemodes, fun additions, events etc. no holds barred. Keep the skill level variance quite wide to keep the experience fresh as it is a more casual gamemode. Keep the tournament style gamemode and don't be afraid to experiment. Here is the important part for the competitive side of the game. Make ranked final round only. Make each ranked game a single 3v3, team vs team, first to 2 cashouts wins, no tournament. It would help The Finals in so many ways, shorter queue times, better matchmaking, less RNG, less griefing, working out rank score would be easier, cheaters would be easier to detect and competitive would actually feel so much more competitive. Don't get me wrong, I love cashout tournament as a gamemode and I think it's great, but it fits so much more in a casual environment. This is your opportunity to truly distinguish between casual and competitive. This is the way to bolster a better environment for the development of the game for all types of players, from new players, casual players, to long time competitive players, this change would benefit everybody. Please, Embark, take this into consideration. Thiixy if you are able to get this to the devs, please do. I genuinely love this game and I want the best for it. Thanks very much.

Hey bro, do you think they are currently doing a good job? I know we haven't had a lot lately but I'm talking about overall here - they are using World Tour as a slight variation of fun (Healing Events, Halloween and Christmas Modifiers) and then comp separate? It seems close to what you're explaining but then if we added in things like an LTM potentially or more gamemodes, this could spice things up too. I feel it's hard to "keep skill levels variance" because there is no SBMM in World Tour (people were very strongly against it back then) so if you have other feedback that would be cool! :)

The balance of the game is in an incredible spot right now. The best things don't feel super overtuned, and outside of a couple outliers like the Cerberus, even the worst guns still feel pretty damn usably at most levels of play. Build diversity is alive and well for all 3 classes and a variety of team comps work outside of high level. We're at a point where balancing feels like splitting hairs and people being overly negative and acting like the balance is dreadful feel a little full of it imo.

All I really want from balance are some little things like putting the AKM back to 36 bullets, giving the Cerberus the teeny tiniest reload speed buff or something and then another tiny XP54 buff of some kind to help it feel worth picking (I miss it so much). Gadget wise everything feels great, I really have no complaints aside from maybe giving the Mesh 250 more energy but ik that would mess up comp so I get leaving it as it is rn and its perfectly usable.

The inspect animation bug is kind of very annoying on the riot shield if you have the tap equipped it switches back to the flipbaround which is hella jarring. But not like it couldnt be remedied by not spamming inspect

Grenades damage should be dropped from 149 to 120 a piece. 240 damage is a perfect cap, it drops a medium down to 10 hp, which btw is exactly what a secondary fire of the throwing knives does to a light.

My main issue (and it's mainly for AMD users) is that FSR 2 is highly outdated, and causes us to have worse performance and visuals compared to our NVIDIA counterparts with DLSS. I understand FSR is harder to implement, but it's been 5 seasons, I feel like we should have gotten something within a YEAR of development. I'm just hoping they skip FSR 3 and go to FSR 4

The current bug I’m running into that just irritates the crap out of me is when you just can’t shoot or ADS. So you just end up staring at the other team until they wipe you. Not super common but ran into that twice last night. My teammates had it randomly as well. Embark please fix that!!

1.They can add a gadget for light which can mark every gadget or specialize around you from 5 meters even through the wall and have the same utility time as the thermal vision. 2.Add more map for powershift. 3. Remove bot from the game (that is not a joke and it almost not existent when cross play is active, but often in console version especially when you play solo with two or four random). 4.balance lockbolt even I found the best way to use it, but still almost trash. 5.give more gadget and specialize to give more patch note fill of buff, nerf or balance. (Patch notes from few weeks feel empty) 6.give the light class at least ONE specialize who can contribute on the team then themself like cloak, dash and grapple. 7.put some different restrictions on the loadout in world tour for make that game mode different of cashout ranked and more interesting in gameplay. 8.stopping change the exp requirement in the battle pass it annoying. 9. Fix some issues since the season 1 10.add team death match mode for those who are hunger for kill then play the objectif from any game mode. That my wish list for the future updates.

6:10 What I've begun to do to combat this is to signal to my team to group up and just hold onto the cash box as we all head over, eliminating any teams we encounter and doing whatever we can to prevent them from plugging. It shows a variable success rate, but it's a useful tool you can use to show your team you are willing to work together the entire way through edit: having grenade indicators or similar would honestly be harmful, because the idea is that you WANT there to be so much chaos that you create and can handle that the enemy doesn't see your grenade coming. Though turning up your SFX can help you hear when a grenade lands near you

The game is really balanced right now. I’d say you gotta nerf charge and slam and lights do need a slight buff to make the viable in WT-type game mode. It’s pretty easy to counter the plug method if you camp a cash out, you can literally see the cahboxs location at all times.

something i really wish they changed are those challenges to kill or headshit from a certain distance and focused more in things from the character like deal damage with turrets, block with shields or something like that because as someone who doesn't have much time to play i feel bad to play as a light to try sniping people or something like that forfeiting the win, i couldn't complete the last 3 sponsor missions because of this i also disagree with adding a grenade indicator because the finals is a very quick game and has a lot of movement incentive, so it's really hard to grenade someone unless they are trying to steal a cashbox, most of the times i can hit people with them is during gunfights with the three teams involved in a room, if there was a indicator that i threw 2 in there they would simply turn back and run or commit to the kill and get a free one on someone trying to escape, as they are now i think they have decent balance between audio and visibility to be noticed by the more attent players but leaving enough room to surprise someone

Plug meta in my opinion isnt as big of an issue as many of the top players make it out to be. As you said it gives the light class an important role in the team. The strategy you mentioned which does get annoying is griefing - intentionally knocking one specific team out, usually the best to get a more easy to beat team in the next / final round. From my own experience this wouldn't be an issue if the ranked matchmaking was more saturated with higher elo players. It seems like World Tour is too attractive and there is barely any reason to play ranked. Over this entire season I had only 3 actual full diamond/ruby lobbies and all of them felt so good to play in. The fights on the cashouts were not completely braindead (even felt really rewarding) and in return everyone was so busy with qualifying themselves that nobody ended up griefing anyone. It was always a split of 2 teams per objective because nobody could get far enough ahead to be in the position to decide who they want in the next round without risking getting knocked out themselves. TLDR: plug meta in high elo wouldnt be as big of an issue if more high elo players would actually play ranked

I agree with the finals being in a great spot. Few things I'm bothered, biggest one being charge and slam as a light sword player. Instant 130 dmg is kind of rough to play around... Other things is dropping the cashbox when running over a glitch trap and the stun gun range. But that might just be me complaining as a sword player

Well, here are my main thoughts what could be done in this update to make the game better. 1. Do smth with the Stungun. One guy on reddit came with a great solution to add a charge time and a sound to it, kinda like it is with a defib. So you can't just pop it up and insta-stun anyone with no possibility of dodging it or doing anything against it in general. So you take your little toy, hold it for like half a second, or a full second, I'm not the one to guess the precise good timing, and you've got some electric-charging kinda sound, so people around you (well, in the range of the stun at least) could hear what you are going to do. 2. Nerf the Charge&Slam. Like really, thank you for defib nerf, so heavys can't just get respawned and immediately start smashing everything around, but insta 130 damage just with a press of a button? I would like to see like a runup to it, so when you press it you start to accelerate, gaining more and more damage as you reach speed and momentum. My guess is like 75-90 damage just from start and good old 130 when you've reached full speed, so like in a 2 seconds of running or so. May even bump the maximum damage to like 140, so it doesn't oneshot a full light, but just. 3. Maybe bump a Riot Shield or Dual Blades in some way. Even though I play mostly swordlight and it's very funny for me to play against these, because they just can't do anything against me in any scenario, I feel like it's kinda unfair. I cannot name a particular way to bump them, but they just feel useless even against a full team of ranged weapons, not to mention teams with a sword light or a sledge heavy. Lights on melee have a lot of movement and speed, heavys have a lot of health to compensate, medium melee's are just pointless. 4. Return the Nade-grappling. I don't quite know the full situation after the Gutzz's flex with it in front of Oscar, but I've heard that it was silently removed from the game and impossible to do now. I guess it's against Embark's course of making the game a bit more competitive with the Major announcement and stuff, but it seems not viable in the top-ELO, where every single one plays demat-fcar-defib-medium anyway, but in more casual scene, it seems like an unbelievably beautiful and hard to master mechanic that just suits The Finals a lot. In terms of overall game's state, I've seen a great video from some guy discussing the tick rate, shot registration and all of that kinda stuff, that just explains perfectly what I, as a mostly casual player, can't. What I can see is just me getting killed being a good meter behind the wall already and a lot of players just having some projectile-type weapons like throwing knives or bow just not being registered, even when it obviously looks like they've hit it perfectly. As stated in that video, The Finals need kind of a "Health update", focusing not on new weapons or cosmetics, but on the game's stability, consistency and overall feel. P.S. please fix maboi sword, after the mid-S4 nerf it became a lot less useful in a lot of situations, and usual swing attack reaching actually further then lunge just looks absurd. P.P.S. I know to some of you these changes, especially first two seem just like a swordlight's cry (quite a lot of people actually hate this weapon and playstyle for whatever reason, go play CS or something idk, you'll be knifed even there), but it seems to me that these balance issues are actually affecting much more people, and implementing mentioned changes can actually make the game better for everyone. But that's just imo anyway.

As for the grapple tech, I agree that it should be in the game in some form, obviously not as strong as it was but the mechanic of it could be there. I will say that if they did revert this change, then they would have to bring back all the other tech we found such as the closed beta zipline movement tech etc which I would love to see a return for as well.

I was kinda with you on the Light plug meta shift. It was cool to see Lights suddenly earn a place in the meta with the rule changes, as an all-in objective focused class somewhat detached from the main unit but still reliant on their support. But i think the issue is that now, Lights feel more powerful in conbat thanks to the LH1 red dot, global recoil, and Invis buffs. They can play ENTIRELY their own game, spending 20% of the round focused on plugging and the rest being a near uncontestable fragging force, barely needing to coordinate with the team. So good light players can now dominate a lobby, and it often pays to ignore running M or H entirely. Honestly reigning back the Lights power ceiling may just fix the meta by itself.

Yea we shall see how they address this Wednesday, I'm not sure how we can retain/allow both of them to exist (light having a role in ranked whilst keeping the traits of cashout similar) I think some suggestions have been focusing on double cashouts, and a solution would be to have an animation of some sort (7 second plant timer or something) to counter it and reward that risk/reward.

I hope they buff the Cerberus. It's a really cool weapon that feels underpowered. I think they could leave base damage the same, but make the burn effect of its shots more reliable. And make it easier for its shots to ignite goo and gas, as well as objects in the environment that are flammable. Then at least it'd have some more utility.

@THiiXY iirc i think you need a certain amount of pellets to hit a target to ignite. Lowering the amount of pellets required to ignite or making the spread tighter and/or adding more pellets could help.

In similar fashion to the rifle argument, I’ve been using a lot of the revolver this season and I swear I have more range than the AK or FCAR in most scenarios. But I still have the issue of lights getting away with 1 hp either with two body shots or one headshot they don’t die. And since we are in a dash/grapple meta it’s fucking obnoxious. No reason that I should be hitting a crit on a light and them not dying especially when it’s virtually impossible to do so in the first place😭

I know that the weapon inspect bug may not seem like a big deal... However, a lot of people are paying real money for those weapon inspect animations only to not be able to use them..

100% I wasn't saying the bugs in that thread was to ignore, I was researching why people are saying the game was dying etc and the only major issue which I hope is fixed soon was servers, I was expecting to see a massive list of things I didn't know about.

Go full Payday 2 and make it so the cashbox randomly interrupts itself and you gotta reinteract with it like the thermal drill to fix it, that way teams can't just plug and run off to go third party the other cashbox.

Please do NOT buff the range on AK's, honestly i really dislike a meta where you can get picked off from 60m+s, for casual players its pretty hard to hit shots from 40m+ let alone 50, maybe just a skill issue from my part but close combat around 30m is best imo

Okay I understand, I feel that if I hit a lot of my shots though I should be rewarded for it, obviously if we are talking about 100m+ that's waaay to extreme, but I can decently track up to about 75m/100m to some degree (I'm also not great too haha :D ) Thanks for watching!

For me it got to the stage where I accept things just get nerfs now, they want a higher (longer) ttk and I just have to adapt, I'm getting used to it I guess

@@Wafflecombo54 It was definitely broken when it launched. I remember seeing many teams of 3 mediums running the pike only. However, they didn't need to nerf it so hard, but it deserved a slight nerf in my opinion. I felt cheesy when I used It. It wasn't as good as the buffed season 3 LH1 but it was nothing to scoff at for sure.

My personal wishlist (All buffs, I personally don't think we need any nerfs rn): - Light Grappling Hook Cooldown reduced from 10 to 8 seconds. - Light Tracking Dart Damage increased from 5 to 10. - Light Thermal Bore Explosion Damage increased from 25 to 75. - Smoke Grenade Cooldown reduced from 50 to 40 seconds. - Anti-Gravity Cube: Duration increased from 20 seconds to Infinite. Throwing a new Cube destroys the previous one, just like a Jump Pad. - Lockbolt Launcher: Maximum range tethered player can move from the Anchor reduced from 13m to 7m. - Gas and Pyro Grenade: Cooldown decreased from 30 to 20 seconds. - Explosive Mine: Damage increased from 120 to 140. - Light SR-84 Sniper Rifle Damage increased from 115 to 125. Damage Dropoff Minimum Range decreased from 80m to 40m. - Light V9S Pistol Damage Dropoff Minimum Range increased from 10m to 15m. Damage Dropoff Maximum Range increased from 15m to 20m. - Light 93R Burst-Fire Pistol Damage increased from 26 to 28. - Medium Pike 556 Marksmen Rifle Fire Rate increased from 200 to 240 RPM. Recoil reduced by 20% to compensate. - Medium Cerberus 12GA spread reduced by roughly 20%. Heavily increased how easily it is to ignite objects like Foliage, Goo and Gas. - Medium R.357 Revolver Damage increased from 74 to 75. Headshot multiplier decreased from 2x to 1.75x. Minimum Damage Falloff Range increased from 23m to 28m. - Medium CL-40 Grenade Launcher now deals double of its current damage to structures. Fire Rate increased from 75 to 100. Self damage modifier decreased from 1.6x to 1x. - Medium Dual Blades Slash damage increased from 50x2/60x2/65 to 55x2/65x2/75. - Heavy Spear’s Stab damage increased from 65/80/90 to 70/85/95. Secondary Fire Spin damage increased from 105x3 to 115x3. - Heavy M60 LMG Damage increased from 19 to 20. - Heavy MGL32 Grenade Launcher now deals double of its current damage to structures, and grenades detonate on contact with an enemy player. - Heavy Flamethrower now deals damage through Dome Shields and Barrier Meshes. - Heavy KS-23 Slug Shotgun Headshot modifier increased from 1x to 1.25x.

Lights are dealing too much dmg from distance with almost 0 risk. You can fight AR mediums easily with lh1 and xp54 because lights have smaller hit boxes and deals more dmg at mid/long range

Invis... sorry i mean *cloaking device* short form cloak, it is bad its more of an annoying spesc. It makes u only transparent common misconception comming from that wrong name ppl use, it is loud as a mosquito, over all it does not hide u well and u can not escape so u die most of the time, always agenst good players, heavens sake i use camoflauge to hide that does not take even a spesc slot. Lh1 hauuuh... it is not as bad as it seems, lights job is to be the flanker dps that is why it has least health, think about this heavy has sledge oneshot instant wide hit area can not escape no chance of taking less dmg, nada and winch makes it long range, with 350 health does that sound fair.

I really liked the first season of terminal attack, I did queue into it semi-frequently. I think it should have stayed as a casual gamemode though

Yeah, if we get more players then we could expand out into offering experiences such as ranked purely for WT, but ofc not as the main mode.
