i main light... i hate it but i love it. for a heavy winning a 1v5 is like common occurrence but winning a 1v5 as a light is like a drug every movement counts every dash every slide every reload every headshot 1 mistake or a stray bullet will kill you

I hope they buff glitch granades as it disrupts shields and healing beams. And it will let light be more impactfull on the match. Not beeing able to do anything about 2H+M feels so bad. No way to pick out someone, no way to kill heavy (at least with my aim) while they are rotating. And single RPG and you are dead. Poking with cloack does nothing as they will just heal up. Maybe some anti-healing long lasting dart / meele gadget will be good idea to make sure you can do chip damage on heavies? Easy way to get ppl out is with utility like gas or fire but only one class has sonar or any other kind of scaning the area. In CS we know bombsites well and can prepare utility but in The Finals it is way harder to use fire / gas. More sonar / better glitch granades will help imensly with bunker playstyle. If will force players outside of the room to intercept attacks on the cashout box. Also explosive spam is killing fun of playing light.

Nice video man! I agree on the heavy meta but in the same time disagree that it promotes defensive plays. It depends imo. Heavy's have shields, but they also have a lot of destructive potential. Combine that with grenades, canisters and enviromental destruction - you have a lot of tools to dismantle the defences or just move cashout to lower floor. I found that in many situations staying on a cashout is a quick way to death, while roaming around it to push away enemy team (or just third party if there are more) is safer, yet more aggressive. So the game needs you to feel the situation, terrain and lobby to decide whenever defensive or aggresive playstyle is in order, which makes it much more unique every time you play. Skilled light players are also great at shuting down shields and healers, but yea, sometimes as a light you just feel useless through the entire match :c

As you mention, having the optimal strategy for the team in first place to sit back kind of goes against the idea of a hype game show. It would be cool to see how solutions to this problem could be implemented within the lore/context of the game. In Hunger Games for example, the game masters have the ability to influence the outcome of the game from the outside. Similarily, in The Finals, the hosts could trigger random events that discourage or even punish camping as it doesnt make for a very good show :P

There are events like that but they are not that massive. Just scoot over few steps and you are ok. Maybe things like "Glitch in the system" - all electronics is down. Only things without much electronics will work. Maybe Sheild decay - longer shield is out more dmg it takes. Explosion suppresion - less aoe form explosives. I know i am biased as light player but sometimes it feels out terrible groing agaisnt 2H+M
